A travel across the Golden Ring, during my four days in the Russian Federation

Renting a car in Moscow is simple and fast enough to visit these two jewels of what is commonly called the Golden Ring. The roads are not in very good condition and the Russians are accustomed to run, but with a bit of caution is in no way dangerous. Be careful at checkpoints, the police are many and quite severe and does not speak English, do not commit offenses and make people understand that you do not speak Russian.
You will not have problems but if you find it hard to let go .... horrible to say .... leave compensation to the policeman on duty. Unfortunately not.
Just out from Moscow will discover another country, an immense and beautiful inhabited by people very different from Muscovites. Suddenly it's like being catapulted back in time, in a distant world but, unlike Moscow, welcoming.
Suzdal is a real gem. Sergiev Posad, the most important place of pilgrimage for the Orthodox.
