The night of August 10 arrival for the third time in the next 4 months In the fascinating Russian capital.
Hosted again in cozy apartment of Olga days were spent trying to understand a little 'better how this city!
Well it's a city growing and I think it will reach its peak in the next 5 years.
However, in Russia there are still too many things that do not function well as from public health to get social security. We complain of Italy but we should count our blessings ..
These days I also wanted to make a detour to St. Petersburg but was prevented in going by train. Will be for next time ...
Of note among other things is the wonderful "Sergiev Posad. A town that is 80 km from Moscow.
Sergiev Posad welcomes you with its absolute magic, especially that of the domes of the Church of the blue background studded with golden stars, and if like me you are lucky enough to see the city kissed by the sun shining bright. The complex was founded by St. Sergius, one of the most beloved saints of Russia and in fact many Orthodox pilgrims come to Sergiev Posad. It 'a little' the Vatican Orthodox.
But even if you do not believe the journey has certainly paid off from the treasures preserved here. The Cathedral of the Trinity for example keeps a wonderful iconostasis, perhaps one of the most important of all Russia.
