I've been to San marino on three occasions, a pair of direct passage to other places and the first time for tourism. On that occasion I was a child and went in the oldest republic in the world with my mother and her venerable Fiat 850 special. I was very intrigued because for the first time set foot in a foreign state. Housed in a historic downtown hotel which allowed us to easily see the various tourist attractions more or less known. I remember the trail on Mount Titano which led to the three towers in one of which was a museum of swords, the museum at the Franciscan monastery, the philatelic and numismatic. In the center of the capital that I have achieved even with a cable car from the valley below, there are ancient medieval buildings, the Government House that I visited inside, with his Hall of Captains Regent, the church dedicated to San marino, the museum waxes. He returned to Italy passing through the same border from where I came in, that at the location of Customs, of course, a free boundary where one does not perform any control.
Many years later I returned to San marino with my Seat Ibiza and a friend coming from the province of Pesaro and Urbino. On that occasion I was received by the Secretary of the Committee oimpico San marino, interviewed by state television and radio.
I then went to lunch in a typical restaurant in the historic center, it was winter and there was a crowd of tourists in the previous time. I left the small country the same night across the road to Rimini.
On another occasion I came here for a short time during a working visit of two days where I've been to Rimini. I arrived in the evening just in time for a walk downtown to the Square of the Government.
