30. 08. 2003 Kranj (Slovenia)
Who would have thought? I am in Slovenia for a girl! The beauty of an inter rail is also this ... girono day decide your destinations based on what happens to you during the journey ...
We were tested after traveling all night without sleep for fear that robs us again or not scendessimo station in exchange for the right train. We arrive at 5.30 am in the Slovenian capital, and after interminable waits we learn that because of an international conference there 'a hole to sleep. But, as always, unexpectedly, the angels fall from heaven to help the sweet and Ana was able to book a couple of night in the place where she stays! A Kranj! A quiet village in the Julian Alps.
Arrived at the station, the clerk at the Tourist Information to help us calling us a taxi, but we, as true inter railers, we meet a truck driver who charged us with all the backpacks and brings us up to our college.
[Luke]: Today is the eighteenth day of travel and I feel a huge weight on the shoulders of memories!
31. 08. 2003 Ljubljana (Slovenia)
Ljubljana is always the same! Nothing has changed! Just a dead city, pretty, green, clean, organized, but too quiet! A place for old people! And 'Saturday afternoon and there's no one around!
We decide to go Kranj! But miles and miles on foot to find an internet point for organizing the trip back to Italy and we did not! It means that we return to our country adventure! But we stop at a supermarket to buy a necessity for our Italian dinner!
What a pity we did not manage to organize one for your beloved four young Slovenian popular here! They were so sweet! They ensure that they appreciated! I will never forget the light that shone in their eyes when they kept asking to make sure I understood that if they came to our house to visit in Italy, we hosted them for free! Keep asking and then in unison: "Really?" Really? " (Really?) Or as they pronounce it. "Weally!
Tonight He's unleashed a storm water. The sky weeps for our departure?
[Luke]: Kranj. A short but good. We rested and ate in abundance for two days!
01. 09. 2003 Ljubljana (Slovenia)
[Luke]: Today we'll have a bad night in the train but do it with pleasure after so much rest Slovenian!
On this trip I saw people: Vale, Klara, Martha ... People that perhaps when we said goodbye they never thought that one day we could meet again! As I'm sure that'll see the people I met in this new international rail!
The sun ... We are almost in Italy! How I remember everything that happened in those days. For now look at these woods and I think the time is still here for centuries ... Maybe these trees are the "secret" ... When I think of my life I see a man who sees the world in the corridor of a train ... Leans to the window ... The scenario runs out ... He is fascinated ... The time passes but it seems not to notice such is the speed of the background ... His eyes run fast ... Dwell for a moment on a house ... On a small station ... Then you lose again ... And 'the road again.

02. 09. 2003 Venice (ITALY)
The novelty of this trip were the hostels! They cost little and are full of people all over the world ... It happens that the morning you brush near a Japanese, you have breakfast next to a Brazilian, sleep next to a Finn, you stop for a moment at the reception and the world passes you, then, we who love geography and contact with other people and in all facets of the world .... It begins with a "Hey, where are you from?" And that's it!
In Venice I see all these inter railers and I think, who knows where they come from, where will that will ... I feel empty inside because I can not know, because I feel so small standing in a closed military school lose millions of times per minute to meet new people!
[Luke]: Twenty days crammed with too many things and the desire to once again says it all!
