I have passed many times by Slovenia during trips that brought me to other destinations. I often happened when I was in Tarvisio to slightly lengthen the path and go for a few kilometers from the border in Slovenia in Val di Fusine Romana. From here reach the first gas station, just before the tourist resort of Kranjska Gora, where fuel the car at low cost, and then crossing the nearby Wurzen Pass, crossed by a steep road on the bends, reached at Villach, Austria. A journey made in this arduous snow and ice in one of these also scared because I had lost control of the continuous medium. Among other things in this country I have passed some time and when it belonged to Yugoslavia. On another occasion I came here simply to accompany a person to the train station Lubjana. After making the necessary details in a couple of occasions I have actually spent on the visit of Slovenia. When was the return of a trip to Austria and the Czech Republic entering the usual decided Wunder Pass to stay in an elegant hoitel of Kranjska Gora, a town famous for its skiing facilities. It was a beautiful day in May and I was in a valley amidst the Julian Alps. The road led me to Bled, a town at the lake where some rowing crews were practicing. Baipassando Lubjana reached the famous Caves Postunja where I came for a visit that takes place between numerous concretions in part on foot and partly on board an underground train small. Inside the big cave and saw a tank in which it was a strange gecko that lives in these depths. On another occasion, I stopped for a couple of hours in the center of Lubjana that I remember well kept, with some notable building, crossed by a narrow river jumped from bridges. A sober and elegant capital, but of course with few amenities. Other times I passed the villages immediately behind Trieste, Koper and Sesana that we call Capod'Istria. I also crossed the whole country from west to east to Murska Sobota via Ptuj. Slovenia is an alpine country very well taken care of with high mountains and green hills, certainly pleasant to pass but little interest to a traveler pretentious.
