From Milan we hear news of the rainy and cold, but here in Maspalomas in the south of Gran Canaria, the thermometer marked 31 degrees, although it into November. The day is beautiful, we decided to take a ride in the middle. Take the road towards Fataga. The scenery quickly becomes breathtaking, with a magnificent view over the dunes and Meloneras.

After a few miles from the terrace you can admire the island's south and the valley that leads to our first goal. It seems to be the Wild West! The mountains resemble the films of John Wayne.

We arrive at Fataga. The village is pretty and very green. We look at the Molino de Agua we could find on www.Immholiday.com
The photos have not honored the place. And 'well kept and beautiful valley views. We stop to eat and know the owner Franco (you felt it was not an Italian) from Tuscany who moved here and could not open a farm. We continue to San Bartolome, which attracts us very much, and then to Roque Nublo, the highest point. Unbelievable but despite being over 1000 meters above sea level you can still see the sea! We could do an ad like the Prickly Pear: "Friends, I sell SEA ararah villa in the mountains!"

And 'Sunday and meet several riders and after a brow towards another valley we arrive at our second stop. Leave your car in small parking lot and we prepare to walk to the top of the mountain. The walk to even a child could do, but my wife is already halfway tired and wanted to go back. So we take the car and go to Tejeda. Suddenly, after a curve, there appears to Tenerife. It 'a wonderful show and we can not stop to take pictures of the island. Seems suspended and the shape of Mount Teide, the highest mountain in Spain, suggests that it is a beautiful woman lying in the clouds. Tejeda is nice and worth a stop for a stroll and a coffee. The temperature has dropped and when we get to Cruz de Tejeda, last try of the day, the car thermometer marks 11 degrees!!
