Zaragoza for us it was a pleasant discovery, was there, between Madrid and Barcelona, two cities with many famous and high-sounding names, which almost went unnoticed. Yet in this small town, the provincial and sgarruppata invented tapas, or rather the real ir de tapas for a stroll on local pinchos that every change you.

Zaragoza airport is new and welcomes new Ryanair flights only practically but little else. It is only ten kilometers from the city, but taking the bus takes about 45/50 minutes drive, due to twenty stops in an industrial area in almost the middle of nowhere.
Enroute we pass one of the largest shopping centers in Europe, so that the various business areas are serviced by a kind of elevated train. Really impressed.

The bus leaves on Paseo Maria Agustin, hence, we come across Paseo de la Independencia in the historic center, where we booked the hotel, practically in the Plaza del Pilar.

Zaragoza turns calmly walk is particularly pleasant walk through the maze of alleyways that make up the oldest part of town. During the day is very quiet, while at night the streets are poured many young people, with their plates and glasses chatting happily.

The main square is huge and center, next to the Cathedral was a statue of the Virgin with hundreds of flowers at his feet and offers. But the better view of the cathedral you across the river, where stand the taste of Moorish towers, its beautiful and imposing structure.
Walking around the city we found many corners characteristic, the beautiful market full of colors and fragrances and other sudden and peaceful squares. Moving toward the west lies the Parque de la Aljeferia with a nice castle.

The feeling that makes you away from the city center of poverty and degradation, as opposed to some areas very modern and well maintained, in principle seems a growing city but still lacks the means to do so ... Expo all this up!
