The two-week trip included a week on half board in Hotel Las Palomas in Torremolinos (booked with a package including flights) + a week without any reservation (we postponed the return of one week by paying € 100.00 per person).

22 July 2006
Arriving in Malaga at 21:00. upon arrival the captain informs us that the ground temperature is 36 ° C. Once arrived at the hotel we are told that the dinner will not be served because the restaurant closes at 21:00. As the beginning is not the best. We decide to go on the promenade of Torremolinos where we eat a good mixed paella at the restaurant La Zoca spending € 21.90.

Alarm clock to 08:00 and after breakfast leave the hotel and we are on the seafront. The thing that surprised us is that much until 09:00 all shops are closed. Having the information at the office of tourism on the beaches and places to visit we decide to go swimming. The sun is mild and pleasant temperature. At 15:00 we decide to move in search of a 'shadow and take advantage of an area rug with palm trees and English. On the seafront we are going to take a Heladeria a lemon granita and a cone coffee (€ 4.45). After dinner, walk downtown and waterfront.

After breakfast we decide to go to sea. We recommend the stretch of coast between Marbella and Fuergijola. Going to cabo beach pine with a series of dunes. In the evening after dinner we prepare to go to the casino Benalmedena which is located at a 5 star Hotel (lose € 15.00). Disconsolate we have fun along the Benalmedena full of bars, clubs, discos, etc..

We decide to go to the beach close to where Almayate remain until the afternoon. In the evening we go to Benalmedena looking for a flamenco show. Let's go to sea to Almayate and after dinner we decide to reach Benalmedena. With the cable car (€ 14.00 per person) go up the observatory astronomical. The landscape is bellissimo.Siamo up to 800 meters and then on to a path. An astrologer has made us see the different planets.

From this morning from the second week adventure. After 20.00 gasoline reach Marbella and the beach cabo pino. Because of the strong wind after about an hour we leave the beach to get to the mall Canada with his 280 stores. In a typical clubs make a great parrillada de carne con patatas (€ 27.00). We reach the beautiful beach of Cologne. Climb on a 30 meter dune. We are in the ocean. The beach is long and we are interrupted by long walks into the bathroom. On the evening in the center of a high rate Entrecote eat with potatoes and a skewer of chicken and dates (€ 37.00).

Let's go to sea in Vejer de la Frontera to Barbato. The beach is beautiful. At 15:00 we leave for Jerez de la Frontera. We arrive after about an hour by car. The town is very pretty.

We leave for Gibraltar where after passing the border we are really in England. The tour is very impressive sin for long waits at the border. Telephone the owner of El Gallo (tel 952 82 79 98 - cell. 615 95 12 31) to anticipate and do two nights. The answer is positive. The room is beautiful we are on the old town of Marbella and has a panoramic terrace. In the evening we go to Puerto Banus (Spain Porto Cervo). The Ferraris are normal.
