Graciosa island
The Dreaming Island! Where you remove your shoes and forget the world. There are no paved roads, there are agglomerated, there is no hurry.
Geographically it is an island belonging to the Canary Islands, 27 square km, of volcanic origin with a population of 525 inhabitants of which about 300 fishermen.
The highest mountain is Pedro Barba, of 266 meters, then there Amarilla Mountain 170 Meters.
The island of Graciosa is the most northern of the Canary Islands and, with the platform between the oceanic islands of Mountain Clara and fun, it makes you develop a large reproduction of fish species, making the island of Graciosa in a unique "Europe" for fishing.
Graciosa is a part of the Chinico with Allegra and Clara Mountain are natural park where nesting birds of single species. Endangered lives and plays here the falcon Regina. The island is desert, a paradise of rabbits and partridges, no crops practically impossible for the lack of sources and because of rare rain. Graciosa from
Lanzarote is divided by a "Rio", practically a channel. In 25 minutes of crossing, a ferry connects Órzola (
Lanzarote) with the port of
Isla Graciosa (Caleta del Sebo)
The temperature has no large temperature ranges, never goes below 14 degrees and never rises above 28 degrees.
There are several beaches, the largest is the beach "La Concha" (so named because it is composed of small shells). The beach of Francesa, more comfortable to walk to the village with a walk of half an hour, and the beach Mountain Amarilla.
The village consists of houses of cubic shape, white with green or blue windows.
