The best final hoped after the tour of Spain.
Living In Aparthotel in Alcudia, ferry trip to / from Barcelona and car hire throughout the week at a cost of about 370 Euro per person (excluding meals).
Looking good before you go and with the willingness to travel around the island was unable to reach beaches and coves and discover an island of your dreams ... you do not expect.

Arrival in Mallorca

We get off the ferry at 7 am and immediately take the bus to the airport where we rented a smart for the whole week. Tired we put ourselves on the march to Port D'Alcudia, to settle in the apartment booked. We cut the entire island, even too sleepy to look around.
We look forward to lunch with a detour to the beach of Port d'Alcudia, I decided that we will see more. It 'a Spiaggione full of families with children, with every comfort but a bit far from our ideal of SEA.
A long rest robs us all afternoon but we decided to go immediately to see the sunset at Cap de Formentor. Getting to the lighthouse is a must during a stay on the island.
The sunset from here is wonderful.
Evening in Pollenca.

Area of Capdepera

Today we begin the search for the best beaches nell'aera Capdepera. We had selected so many from Italy!
Let's start with Cala Gat, very pretty, but pretty crowded so many fall back to Cala. This bay is located behind a beach far more famous, crowded and served. You have to walk a bit, but it's worth it. There's no beach, only rocks and small sections in which lay the towel but the bay is beautiful and you are virtually alone. We end the day with a visit to the caves of Arta, but not before another bathroom to the beach of Es Carregador. Evening in Port D'Alcudia.

Sierra de Tramuntana

Today we dedicate the whole day to ride across the entire eastern side of the island, the wilder and more dominated by the Sierra de Tramuntana. In the morning we go to the famous and beautiful beach of Sa Calobra. Already the road is an adventure to come up here .... the beach is formed at the mouth of a small stream in a narrow gorge. The water is turquoise and a hard to forget. Arrive early and enjoy this place before the arrival of the crowd. At noon we ran away for lack of living space ... lost magic!
Continuing along the road we stopped at the beautiful Cala Tuent. Here's a few people and buy all the reflections of the water so green that surrounds it. In the late afternoon we went up to Deia, a village renowned for its quiet atmosphere, and so far away island. Beautiful.
Let's go back to the hotel. Evening in Alcudia.

Area of pollenca

We spent the day today to two beautiful beaches in the area of Pollenca. Cala St. Vincent in the morning, actually consists of three bays separated from each other, Cala Molins, Cala Clara, Cala Carbo. We stopped in Cala Clara, the prettiest and clean. Shame about the destruction of the hotels built on the sea.
In the afternoon we moved in Cala Formentor. This is really beautiful and suitable for everyone as you can find is the hand that is not equipped. Before concluding the day we treated ourselves to a walk through the streets of the town of Alcudia, very pretty and well preserved.

Area of Alcudia

Today we decide to stay near Alcudia, where we discover the beaches of S'Illot (the best), Platia de San Joan, Alcanada.
S'Illot is really nice, not very crowded and very special with the rock that overlooks the beach within swimming. From S'Illot worth continuing along the road to the end. There are many corners where you can enjoy a beautiful view.

Santanyi & Felanitx

Today whole day dedicated to those that we believe are the most beautiful beaches on the island, along with that of the Sierra de Tramuntana. Early in the morning we were already in the Santanyi, where with a bit of difficulty we find the road (or road) that leads to S'Almunia. Leaving the car at the end of the road a long stairway leads to the characteristic playa de Almunia, where there is no beach but access to the cove from the set of fishermen's houses overlooking the sea. We continue with a walk of about 20 minutes until our eyes opened to the beautiful Caló des Moro. It 'a narrow stretch of water between two rock walls with a water simply fantastic. To get to the beach access is not easy, but well worth it. Go early to find space and to enjoy the creek before the arrival of too many people, because the beach is small. In the afternoon we moved to the nearby area of ??Felanitx, where we did not want to miss Cala Mitjiana. Even this is not easy to find, the lack of clear indications. The road becomes a dirt road and hardly passable by a car town, you need to walk the last 2000 meters. It 'still a pleasant walk, shaded and wooded. The cove is simply fabulous, actually seems like a stretch of private beach and little known. Crystal clear water and quiet become even more beautiful in the context of villas and golf courses that surround it.

last day

Today is the last day in Majorca.
We spend the day at the beach again, choosing the plat de San Pere, also located in Alcudia. It is certainly among the most beautiful but the sea is very beautiful. Unfortunately poeriggio in wonder pack up and go back to Palma, where we eat and where to return the vehicle before you do a tour of the center. Definitely cute, but aside from the Cathedral, the impression is of a great city that, again, in our opinion, does not fit the true spirit of the island, as well as the area of Magaluff that just barely touched upon and deliberately avoided.
Mallorca surprised us because we found more than we could imagine. And surely everyone can find the same. Wild nature, beautiful sea, but also many opportunities for those seeking nightlife.
