Mallorca
An island where the climate is mild, pleasant even in summer with temperatures that rarely exceed 30-32 degrees, a constant and pleasant ventilation and cool nights.
The island is used by tourism, and even hidden coves are full of people, with bars and clubs on the beach. The traffic on the island is fairly supported and travel with a rental car along the coast are not fast.
However, the beaches and resorts are less popular on the east coast of the island, while more urbanized locations are close to Palma.
Very pleasant and panoramic excursion to
Cabo Formentor.
Sa Coma, Club Royal Mediterraneo
Our stay on the island we spent at the Club Royal Mediterraneo, a nice complex right on the beautiful beach resort of
Sa Coma, with a good value for money.
Accommodation is provided in comfortable apartments with kitchen, living room, bedroom and large terrace, ideal for families with children.
Half board is consumed at the buffet restaurant "Mediterraneo", reached by crossing the road divides into two parts the complex. The food is good, though with little variety and first courses of poor quality. You can dine on a terrace that overlooks a beautiful pool, one of the 3 that are in the complex.
The beach, reached via footpaths within the Club is equipped with fine sand beds and umbrellas (very expensive), and sea blue and clear.
The only flaw is that after a sea, for 3-4 days the sea has resulted in some points, especially at the shore, several algae, even if just to move a hundred meters, to find areas completely clean.
The evening entertainment from the classic village, first for children in the company mascot, a huge puppet, and often shows with performances by artists from outside.
Alternatively, a walk along the busy street of
Sa Coma, with many local restaurants, or along the footpath that runs alongside the sea.

A tip is to get there before 11.00, in peace to enjoy the beautiful walk up to this rocky outcrop overlooking the sea, calm that inevitably disappear with the arrival of the first bus organized. It 'also true that the view is more clear in the afternoon, with the right light.
Continuing on the road over
Cabo Formentor we can achieve a beautiful beach (Cala Pi), through a very scenic, following the signs to the luxurious Hotel Formentor.
The beach is long and narrow, surrounded by pine trees, the water is clear. Since this excursion destination of mass, which is the same advice as before. The entrance to the parking lot to reach the beach is a fee.
