My trip to Spain.. A visit to Avila and San Lorenzo del Escorial

 

It rises to 1131 m above sea level, but it is hard to notice the height. Birthplace of Santa Teresa, in every corner there is the presence of the great mystic. Features the walls of the town that have Roman origins, although the construction of the current ones from the end of 'the eleventh century, its Gothic cathedral and magnificent views, especially along the tour round (around the top of the walls). We stop in ample free parking and quiet tourist town situated next to the walls, behind the station of the guardia civil, well-reported is impossible not to find it.
