Relaxing on the dunes of Fuerteventura. Canary islands, Spain
Weekend buzz on this' island forgotten by man. Tear African rock and sand, surrounded by a sea meant blue, clear waters and a wind whipped sweet and insistent. Fuerteventura recalls the landscapes of Western Sahara, with the dunes overlooking the cold Atlantic Ocean, the goats grazing in the clearings inhospitable and almost without any form of vegetation, furrowed by the `horizon` s huge volcanic cones that have given birth. In the little airport, afficciato directly on the waters of the east coast, we headed immediately to the north, towards the great dunes of Corralejo, with a small "pueblo", with views to Lanzarote and the tiny island of Loboas. To the south, the beaches become larger and perhaps more spectacular, Jandia, the southern peninsula is indeed the quintessence of Atlantic beach, the beaches that esendono suun Mareblu, formadi small blue lagoons. In these parts, sun, light, sea, a cool breeze and relaxation are the synonyms of a holiday to the teaching of nature and tranquility, a way to disconnect from everything and everyone without flying for over 10 hours to the east or to west. An island to discover and enjoy.
