For the second time I decide to visit this island with my boyfriend who has not seen it. We choose September to find a little 'less crowded (it was useless !!!!) hoping in time still beautiful. In fact it was so, beautiful warm days and very sunny! Stayed for 8 days in the resort of San Antonio one of the liveliest of the island, all 'Hotel Marco Polo. The hotel is in a really unique position because it is located opposite the beach and close to the main road with bars, restaurants and bars. From the pictures we have seen the catalog and the low price of the hotel I was expecting really to find a "tavern" on the contrary, the hotel is very nice and cared for, our room was very large and even the bathroom, terrace overlooked the small pool in the garden. The restaurant is located downstairs and offers a kitchen for all tastes but I found a little 'repetitive. At about 200 meters away from where the marina is catamarans for the excursions and the evening is filled with stalls selling everything and street performers. Ibizastrong> as well as being a popular venue for the most fashionable nightclubs has to offer including the beautiful beach resorts not to be missed. The ideal would be to do two weeks on the island so that in one you can visit the beaches and in the other you can set off until the morning in clubs! Do both things in one week alone is almost suicidal! We did but we came back from vacation more tired than before! We slept very little since the night we went dancing, they returned the next morning at the hotel for a shower and breakfast, we would dress and we went out for organized trips or buses to get to see some beautiful place to sea, then returning for the dinner and a shower and slept for two or three hours and away ........ and shared again !!!!! But they have been extremely worthwhile! As a local we were very fun with Amnesia Espuma Party and Pacha with an evening of Pure Pacha. As disco (and I speak of the structure) Pacha is beautiful, with its terraces overlooking the town and many bars here and there, but a little 'disappointed me because it is not much space for dancing because some rooms are really small and in between all the main bars and lounges was a little tight! As council seats that are sure to see the nearby Formenterastrong> (to get there with half an hour by catamaran) from the white sand and crystal sea, Cala Taridastrong> where there's a restaurant right on the beach (the council is the last on the right ) that makes the most delicious paella I've ever eaten, Cala d'Hortstrong> also with a clear sea, Cala Bassastrong> and Cala Comtestrong> where there is a beautiful panoramic snack bar from which to watch the sunsets! Very nice to see is the old town of Ibizastrong>, with its alleyways full of local stalls and souvenir shops near the harbor. All these places are raggiunagibili with the bus. Fortunately, the hotel is located 100 meters from the bus station who were really comfortable, they are cheap and have many lines that leave you in the most beautiful to see, and then there's the convenient bus service only for nightclubs that cost 2 euros each way and leave you in front of the disco! Council to use them because sometimes the price of the organized tours is really an outrageous when you consider that in the same places you can reach it easily and more economically! But they also recommend a trip is Ibizastrong> Jeep, it costs about 75 euros a head, you start with a minimum of 5 jeep and gets the full tour of the island, passing on dirt roads and small mountains or rivers in the middle to stop every now some beach to rest a bit and then set off and ending with a visit to the colorful Market Hyppie. It 'very funny and then the guide is just one then you have the chance to drive a jeep, we unfortunately we have not been able to do because we did not know of this possibility and then we went with thongs and no license! Because of this fact, we were not very good with Columbus because "we were not informed of the progress of the trip, we were told that there was lunch, but there have warned that the dinner was paid, we were not told to take with us the bandanas from the dust that covers you and bottles of water for many hours as you may not stop where there is a bar (which is what other tour operators do) and in addition we had We also pay our pocket without essert warned parking for jeep during a visit to the market hyppie! I recommend everyone see at least once this bizarre island, both to the sea for all the entertainment has to offer!
