LAST MINUTE Tenerife

This time I was entrusted to a last minute found on the internet to escape my everyday life, I just need to detach ....
After much indecision between prices and flight schedules and weather we decide that the best thing of all is Tenerife ... (I think that Saturday morning my son woke up with the idea of going or Marsa Alam or Djerba, but looks a little 'what you devotes destiny ....)

L 'idea that I had in Tenerife was not sure what I had done ... visiting. I imagined it a tourist island, and on playa de las americas is all too .... But certainly I did not think to find some breathtaking landscapes such as the Teide but also those of El Medano and the nearby island of la Gomera.

Tenerife is an ideal holiday destination for everyone from those looking to relax those who want to turn and discover its hidden sides .... From the couple at least .... Cmq must say that there were many young people and a lot of local carini from the parts of Las Americas. Surely it is an island where it is impossible to be bored!

Fly with Blue Panorama ... a plane so close I have not ever seen the truly extraordinary compressed us but for 4 hours to fly the thing is ... bearable. Arrived at the airport immediately take your bags and we are transported to our hotel: Oro Negro (chain Catalonia) to playa de las Americas.
The hotel is not that the most from an aesthetic point of view ... a 9-storey Palazzone but so are all around ... well almost. Cmq give me the room 855 has no sea view but the mountains and golf course. L air conditioning only works if you take the security of 20 euros at the reception .... (Never seen such a thing!) Which will be returned at the end of your stay ....
The hotel offers full board with drinks, I noticed, however, a class recycling of food ... it was always the same and changed a few times ... Great show coking or cooking before your eyes of meat or fish that is in the menu of the day ..
The pool is not l I never used but there was always a lot of people (but you can go to Tenerife to stay in the pool ????!!!!)
I have found all good hotel even if many people of my plane was alleged ... the single that was new in my opinion was that the sea was reached in 15 minutes of walking .... If they had put a shuttle would be more comfortable ....

Arrived and settled decide I'm blessed to see the Atlantic Ocean ....
The beach of las Americas in las Veronicas area is very crowded and to los Cristianos is a beautiful promenade full of palm trees and shops. Tenerife is full of perfume super competitive prices .... But the bags ... no joke.
The next day we decide to go to the beach in Los Cristianos (playa de las vistas) that I personally have found much better than Las Americas .. There are showers, toilets, safes, cabinets for change, ALL FREE ... .. (What they are ahead in Spain ...) (the beaches in Spain are public: you can put where you want and nobody can say anything).
In the afternoon we decide to see Santa Cruz, the capital of Tenerife ... is located about 80 km from Las Americas but is easily reached by bus (110 direct, the romance is transposed to the company in the local and the only way 7.50E coast. The thing that struck me the most of this city is the imposing auditorium (the sea) that looks to the house of Sidney, in the background there are also the twin Towers! This is an ideal destination for shopping, there are shopping centers in which to lose ... ..
The following day we make the trip with color jeep tours visiting the north of the island and the park of Teide ....
Let Garrachico for, what was the capital but also marked by adverse events, arrive in a remote village to see the plan of the dragon millennium (actually only 650 years) and then have lunch in Puerto Cruz in a pleasant village on area where there are swimming pools Martianez.
After lunch we climb on Teide (high 3800metri) to 2150metri ... the route is tortuous but the jeep is good and you can see changes in the landscape .... Going from desert to forest lichens are passed among the rocks, which are marked by different eras and the show with different colors ... what a wonderful ... ... ..

la Gomera

L 'island is beautiful but make the trip with a double-decker bus ... and the streets of the island are very narrow and mostly MOOOOOlto straight ... .. we do not know ... we found the second floor of the bus in the second row and believe me in some points I was really being a heart attack .... Even had to reverse in a straight curve .... Not to mention all the classes which were put through the laurel forest of Garrajonais.
L island of la Gomera is totally different from Tenerife ... .. la Gomera has some beautiful countryside is very green ... it comes from the laurel (plants dating back thousands of years ago, crossing between laurel and heather, the heather here can reach up to 3 meters in height!) Terracing with palms and trees . ...
It is a small island but it is very mountainous it takes a lot to move ... .. just arrived at the port begin our ascent, and at some point we are above the clouds with a view of the Teide .... STUPENDO! L island heritage of UNESCO.
For lunch we take the las rosas restaurant where we are demonstrating the whistle ... gomera ancient method of communication between the inhabitants of 'island.
The island of Gomera is also known as Colombina island since its Columbus stopped here before leaving for his discovery to America. Then we visit his house ... ..
The day is over, you depart for Tenerife ... .. mah surprise ... ... the port of Gomera has the water and there are also lots of fish! I harbor a not so clean I have ever seen l!

Half day at El Medano
