Travel in Tenerife 24 years after my Honeymoon.. Canary islands, Spain
For the 3rd consecutive year we return to the Canaries and after 24 years (it was our honeymoon) we return to Tenerife. August is very different from in February. Stay in Costa Adeje, next to a beach reachable by a very long walk that seems to never end, lit up at night, along which are located hotels from a variety of colors and shapes. The sand is dark except on the beach from the Teresitas, towards Santa Cruz, where, however, the sand was brought from the desert but the effect is still amazing. Every island resort is worth a visit: Garachico with its natural swimming pools at Icod de los Vinos, where he was made a park for the millennial Dragon (a Dracena almost 1000 years) but you can see very well from the outside . In Puerto de la Cruz in the north, it wraps a cloak of suffocating heat, but Christ is still sitting there in the cathedral as many years ago. The Valle de la Orotava is shown with its stretches of banana plantations. Do not miss the Teide, the highest mountain of Spain, with its 2,800 meters, rising fear the cold but the sun burns, sand everywhere, lava, volcanic rocks from the most diverse (there is also the Zapatilla de la Reina) and views wonderful. Along the west coast Los Gigantes, the majestic cliffs, and male, a small village between the barren mountains.
