Minorca has been the choice a little 'to say .... if that is the least known of the Balearic Islands and thus is unlikely to drop the mind there for a holiday .... at least that was for me ...... I have chosen because I had split a week ... from Sunday to Sunday so I had to discard destinations with flights midweek ... (it is not right for me to start flights in a week kind of days ... Tuesday Thursday .. .. and who has broken a week like me what to do? I have very little choice to make a trip .... UFFA ... who think like me? scusate small vent) ... PERO '... .. I have chosen well!
Staying at the Almirante Farragut Cala en Forcat ... a very nice hotel, I would say because its a spectacular overhang on a cliff overlooking the sea, with this myriad of straw umbrellas for the garden all around the pool ... even in some steps that descend down to the sea .... and very comfortable rooms with balcony and air conditioning .... a few minutes walk there are shops, bars and pubs all I want to spend an evening .. . otherwise a few minutes drive there CIUTADELLA, ancient capital of ..... very beautiful beach with all its restaurants on the port .... and then going up a staircase we find ourselves in the old town .. . with its cathedral and its narrow streets full of shops and restaurants ... a very nice town to see! Then list what you need to visit in my premise that almost all beaches have a beautiful park and a small piece to do a walk in the woods ... the parking is not and almost never pays more often than not there are also parking attendant to help you find a place ... the phone in almost all the beaches does not take (I have vodafone) since many bays are at the bottom of a long inlet of the high cliffs ....
- Platges D'ALGAIARENS: beautiful, long beach, is a nature reserve ... clear water and beach little crowded .... surrounded by red rocks of Minorca (the color of the earth is not our brown but red ... view photo).
- Cala Morell: another quiet cove but somewhat 'smaller and pebbles
- CALA Macarella: one of the most famous beaches and also one of the most popular and thus more chaotic ... if you follow a path to walk for another twenty minutes to go to MACARELLETA, the younger sister and smaller wild ATTENTION but for the most frequented by nudists ...
CALA EN-TURQUETA: another beautiful beach of the most popular then as above ...
- Cala Galdana beach located in Santa Galdana, a tourist resort with several hotels in 4 and 5 stars ... with a little 'ruined the scenery of this beach paradise (visible from a vantage point well indicated by road signs called "el mirador")
E-SANT TOMAS SON BOU: long white beaches here are also the beaches with umbrellas and deck chairs ... un po 'meno ... direi wild
- SA Mesquida: this beach is not worth much .... so not to waste a day ... there are many more
CALA DE-Fornells: I was not but I understand the beaches are a little 'more rocks or pebbles ... Fornells is a beautiful village where to go for a ride in the evening ... you may dine in one of the restaurants the harbor and then take a walk on the beach or on the main course. E 'a village of fishermen and very small.
- CALA EN PORTER: Even more than here for the beach resort is famous for its nightclub overlooking the sea ... see photos ... it's nice to go to take a drink or make a drink in the evening ... it is considered just an attraction because there are people of all ages who visit it and not just young people who go to dance
CALA-Mitjana: The number one on the podium for me .... this beach occupies a large cliff on the left overlooking the beach ... too many people go to make diving from up there ... is very high in .... this cliff is a cave where a family of which I do not know the origins (but not European) that sells fresh fruit ... you affected by them there and if you want you can drink the coconut milk also just split .. .. eating healthy and fresh ... the sea under the cliffs is very low ... arrive in mid-calf and the beauty is that the sand is white and equal ... so you can walk a lot 'as if you were in the pool .... the water spectacular color and if you want to see a spectacle of nature you have to walk through a path for about 10 minutes and reach a cove where the beach is really small, but there are some fairly large rocks where you can put your things and write l 'towel ... no matter if you love the sand .. so there you are in water for power ... is so beautiful and the scenery so beautiful that you seem to be on an island somewhere .. and then the last thing that comes to mind is to lie down!

One very important thing ... the phenomenon nudism in
Menorca is always around the corner .... I mean ... in these creeks a little 'more secluded yet ... but ... even in the most famous beaches and more crowded and perhaps with many families with small children .... always come for someone to stand spoglierà completely and cheerfully with all his thanks to the wind ... that men and women .. are they like the course ... . a me un po 'meno ... in fact I personally had some' discomfort and if I had a small child even more ....!
Go ... ... really worth the time flights are heartrending for 10 hours to find a sea "Caribbean" and instead she could get an hour and a half ...... Only the palm trees!
