Uncommon Easter holidays in Barcelona, Spain
Barcelona is only 500 KM from Aix where we decide to try to do this long weekend of Easter in Spain.
Wonderful journey only 4 hours drive (sustained speed) and we are on the ramblas Spanish!
The city already know well, we have already been other times but always in the air (from Milan too long in the car!), Newly arrived on Friday April 6 suffered a nasty surprise .... ALL CLOSED !!!!! Type ferragosto ... in Milan!
What disappointment!
Come on in hotel ... hotel Ronda Lesseps, 100 euro a night room, taken upon Expedia, to be out sucks ..... well we start the holiday instead ..... the rooms are much better than expected, new , including a whirlpool, a real pleasant surprise!
But we are encouraged and we throw ourselves in the heart of Barça ..... it all ended!
Patience, we stop at a tapas bar, and we drained a liter of beer on the head with a ham bocadillos and things you already see from a better ...... it will mean that we will do so as usual , lots of nightlife and not tourists!
This fact, local Eixample until 6 am, and briosches cappuccino before going to sleep and much alcohol! Hihihi .... ..... always ends up in Spain so'....... nightlife and mega drunk!
Monuments and museums even if they speak ..... you get up to 2 and slowly begin to connect to the 3, and then walk into the center (always all shops closed) and then away! bar a tapas and sangria and beer at will!
The only thing cultural holiday was the Guell park that we had not seen the times before (one of Gaudi 'for instance).
In any case, it was fun for the night ....... even though we have accused the stroke of heavenly and we are only now taking it a week later!
In any case Barça should always try to believe!
