WeekEnd in Barcelona
Beautiful city, especially at night, very alive. Given the short time available, we preferred to make a choice on what to visit. The architecture of Gaudi is virtually impossible not to see. E 'everywhere, sometimes even too commercialized.
Park Guell by Gaudi house museum is a masterpiece, with its stunning gardens as mad. It comes with the metro stop Lesseps and then on foot or by bus 92.
Returning to the center, on the Rambla de Passeig de Gracia, the Batlló house. Un po 'caro admission (16.50 euros!) But you can not do without it. The interior is something spectacular. Gaudi has performed here of the true masterpieces of architecture and engineering.
But its greatest expression is visible to the Sagrada Familia. Cathedral built from 1882 and still under construction. Here Gaudi has ended his days, but his projects are widely visible.
Very nice even with the Cathedral cloister in the old part of town.
La Rambla and the narrow streets at night are an incredible beauty, full of life and sights.
