It's a pretty town with the right size, everything is at hand. Through Kungsportsavenyn (the main street of Gothenburg), one can easily reach the port of town (the largest in Scandinavia) where you can admire the stunning opera house and boats moored there. Along the avenue of course plenty of shops of all kinds including Nordstan, the largest shopping center in Sweden.
Unfortunately I only had a few hours to see her, and although I have spoken highly of the naval museum, having a few hours, I preferred the atmosphere of the city strolling around.
I was lucky for the weather conditions: sun shine for 2 ½ days to 3 of stay (which is rare since the city is famous for its rainfall and climate variability), shame that many of which I spent working, closed But in a beautiful office windows directly on the sea, plus a very relaxed atmosphere.
In Gothenburg, also reside some of the largest industrial groups in Scandinavia, such as Volvo, SFK, ESAB.
Hotel Rating: not brand new but impressive for its height (23 floors). It 'pretty central (located directly opposite the Liseberg, which is the largest and most beautiful amusement park in Northern Europe and one of the greatest attractions ever in Sweden) and from here you can easily reach the Kungsportsavenyn and then the sea. One of the restaurants, located on the 23rd floor, besides being enjoyable for the excellent food served, offers a breathtaking view over the city!
