Passage in Sweden
My brief passage in Sweden is part of a much larger journey made by train InterRail ticket including crossing Switzerland, West Germany, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, East Germany, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Yugoslavia, Bulgaria and Turkey with the European Union visits to many cities during the journey. Arrived in Sweden over the bridge between Tornio (Finland) and Haparanda (Sweden), once a place of exchange between the political prisoners of the Soviet Union and the West. I took the train continued for Boden where I changed to Stockholm. The following day visit to the Swedish capital consists of a set of islands connected by bridges. The main monuments are all on the same island, the Royal Palace, the Cathedral, the Parliament. Also of interest are two other islands, and the romantic Skeppsholmen Kastelholmen. The city that has grown on the continent is modern but the result of wise with large urban boulevards and public parks. I started the evening by train and arrived the following morning in Helsingborg I took the ferry across a short stretch of sea reaches the Danish Helsingor. Following this trip I returned to Sweden for a transit from Helsingborg and Gothenburg to same is that the return from a trip to Norway (see Norway Olympic). The Swedish landscape is very similar to the rest of Scandinavia so if it is seen and Norway or Finland, you can not even look into. Stockholm certainly worth a visit.
