Departure
Here we are telling another trip, short but intense.
I had four days off with my friend Lara and we decided to visit part of Switzerland.
We start March 14. Arriving at the Swiss border make us buy the "seal of highways", we pay 30 euros and give us 5 francs in change.
Swiss motorways are similar to ours, except the toll that obviously does not exist.
After 4 hours of travel we reach the outskirts of Bern, the capital of Switzerland. Now find your hotel and, being in the center and a pedestrian area, try a covered parking lot, we make the ticket and pay 40 CHF for 24 hours.
The hotel we booked online through www.booking.com which was the cheapest method, though I usually prefer to book directly from hotel website. We pay for a double room in B & B 140 CHF, the hotel is called the Continental. (I think it is very convenient in a capital city and in the center ...).
It 'too late to see the city well, then we decide to go for a walk at night, the city is quiet and the girls, even the sun, there is no reason to be afraid.
The next day we go out soon and our inseparable Lonely Planet left for pedestrian route recommended.
Our route starts from the square where the parliament on that day there was a market, we take a stroll around the palace and found ourselves in a park where he has a wonderful view over the river Aare and the Alps by visiting the Cathedral and the beautiful fountain of Moses. (Bern is famous for its many fountains, all seem the same, but it is not so ..).
We continue our journey along the river and leads us to cross the bridge to see the famous "bear pit". You can see 5 bears but we have only seen two and they were very nice.
We continue our journey into the heart of the city by hundreds of photos to different fountains. We arrive at the clock tower Zytglogge. E 'pier beautiful and special, unfortunately we have not seen in operation.
We wanted to visit the museum of Einstein but .. Given our very poor knowledge of German not seemed the case.
The weather was very favorable so we decide to have lunch in the square outside, in a place called Anker. We ate very well!
Our adventure continues on the discovery of the Bernese embassies. Are not very distant from the center and are easily reached on foot. We saw the embassies of Britain, Canada, Belgium, Austria, Vatican City and of course the Italian.
E 'afternoon and we decide to leave for the second city
Lucerne.
After an hour's drive we arrive and park. Here also pay parking and hotels in the center. Hotel Falken night with only 105 CHF.
We decide to go for the usual night tour and discover that
Lucerne is a city very quiet.
Second Day
After we get up we go to breakfast with Starbucks ... for me that I do not like coffee is a nightmare but the muffin I ate was good!
Even here with our Lonely Planet we follow the footpath. We start from the famous wooden bridge Kappellbrucke, we head toward the cathedral and then cross the river Reuss with another wooden bridge older. Reach the walls where we do a walk, going the way you get the Lion monument Lowendenkma dedicated to Swiss soldiers who died in 1792 during the French Revolution.
We could go see the museum of the glaciers but we preferred to continue to the cathedral, then we toured the lake and then we leave for Zurich.
Time is not the best, it starts to rain but that did not stop there. We park in a hundred, and since it's Sunday, parking is not charged. Take a tour through the center visited the two churches and Fraumunster Grossmunster both very beautiful. Unfortunately, the rain becomes insistent and then decide to leave for Liechtenstein, our last stop.
Third Day
The brief visit to Liechtenstin we entered into another trip.
Meinfeld we arrived at the house of Heidi desperate but we discover that we have to do some 'walk to your house and saw the time ... rain ... not make us feel and then we started with destination Italy. The return journey was quiet even though we had snow and cold, but arrived in the Ticino also arrived the sun. Unfortunately, four days have passed quickly but we did discover a beautiful reality that is close to our house to be discovered.
Go there is a council ... ah do not forget to buy chocolate is very good and there are many, many kinds!
