Wonderful trip to the Swiss nature. We were very fortunate to be hosted, so we started with no operators.
La Chaux de Fonds is a beautiful town, located a few kilometers from the border with France, is called the capital of watchmaking by the presence of the international watch museum with an internal 'exposure infinite clocks of all types , the first ever built up to those of today, you can also visit other museums including the Natural History Museum and the fine arts.
Being a city located almost 1000 meters above sea level, from the winter months almost certainly means finding a lot of snow.
Near La Chaux de Fonds, there are also many other very beautiful places to see, and like Le Locle, near Neuchatel is also fabulous with its spectacular views over the lake. Also away for a little more (about a 'hour and a half drive) you can get the beautiful Thun..
