Submitted as part of a longer ride this trip introduced me to a nation little known and little visited.
Geneva is very elegant, linda with a beautiful lake, beautiful shops, both green and (for those who love languages) you can talk a very good French, is also the city of Jean Jacques Rousseau (the statue is well in sight). Ten years ago (when I was a young girl on the second trip alone), the Swiss franc, the French accepted without problems then I imagine is the same for the euro. I did not expect to meet so many tourists from all over the world, I also met two Brazilian!. Einsiedeln is not much distance from Zurich (the city of banks and the brightly colored buses and trams). We speak German and is known for a Benedictine abbey and the statue of the Black Madonna who make half of pilgrimages from time immemorial. On the square outside the Abbey there is a fountain from thirteen mouths and drink according to tradition is necessary for each of them for good omen. It is not very suitable for vitazzuoli as the sun sets each fall at home, but in ten years things can be changed! Prices are a little 'high but in return the hotels are clean, according to the standard Italian and we eat very well (for those who have no nostalgia for spaghetti, of course!) Our hotel was near the former, with typical prevalence of wood and large rooms equipped with satellite television (RAIUNO you saw, and RAIDUE Canale5)
