A journey to the famous channel islands. From St.Malo to St. Helier, Jersey, with the hydrofoil
Arriving on the island of Jersey, taking advantage of a tour in France, which included the Normandy, with a fast hydrofoil from St.Malo. Reached the port of the island we went to the capital St.Helier. The town has some British-style architecture as the covered market. I took advantage of the English style of the island for a good breakfast of scrambled eggs and bacon. The short duration of a morning tour ended at the harbor where I took up the hydrofoil to St.Malo. The island despite being a few kilometers from France to which it belongs geographically is in fact a dependency of the British Crown. Together with other islands of the archipelago belongs to the Channel Islands also known as the Channel, in turn divided into the dependencies of Jersey and Guernsey.
