Canterbury, in a brief trip..
After a month's stay in Ireland back in London where my parents waiting for me with the camper (they visited for one month the UK) and together we go to France before reaching Spain.
During the journey, and in turn to UK cities including the beautiful Canterbury, before taking the ferry to Calais (France).
Canterbury has always cariñosamente medieval, with its orderly streets, the timbered houses, the colorful flowers and the air of festivity.
Visit the center (even to the shops). The cathedral, Christ Church, the mother church of the Kingdom, is always striking.
Unfortunately we have to leave for Dover, and we can not make a detour over the walls to the ruins of the Augustinian, an abbey founded by St. Augustine in 598, second in Europe after that of Montecassino. Unfortunately, only the ruins of the donjon is what 'the remains of the Norman castle, once onto the eastern side of the walls.
