August 27) Depart from the airport of Orio al Serio BG at 06.35 with flight Ryanair, which is significantly cheaper than many other companies. we were good. we arrived at London Stansted at 07.45 on time.

We also bought the plane tickets of the Stansted Express train from the airport arrive in central London. (You can also opt for the bus but it takes more time, the train costs more, but we believe it is more convenient, the bus station is Liverpool Street and from there take the metro). We paid € 54.

Arriving at Liverpool Street, we bought a travel card which entitles them to unlimited travel on the Metro, which is on the bus for 7 days. (given the cost of a single race all right ... should ...) The cost of the travel card is about 22 pounds each.

We found the line that took us to the nearest subway station to our hotel and within minutes we were at recepiton hotel. We ptenotato the hotel through the internet is called Niki Hotel is located quite in the center, 16 London Street (the nearest metro station is Paddington). We booked the site www.nikihotel.co.uk give you a tip: always book not on the website of the sites that have so many hotels ... most often it is a scam, and then book the hotel reservation never comes ...

It 'a beautiful hotel but not for a B & B is fine. the hotel is little, only to sleep, trust me, in London there is never boring.

It was early and check in at the hotel was at one time we went immediately to explore the city.

We saw Hyde Park, is huge you get lost unless you have a map. We shot almost everything we saw the statue of Peter Pan, the fountain in memory of Lady Diana, the Serpentine lake, and many many squirrels are very friendly and not afraid of years, enough to feed him ...

Back at the hotel and made the check in we rested a bit .. then we went to see Buckingham Palace, beautiful and huge, but the queen was not there ... We went to House of Parliament also this building is huge and very charming, of course, the Big Ben ... I thought it was bigger but it's nice anyway.

Took a stroll along the Thames, we arrived at Trafalgar Square was late and dark and then we saw little
(but we are back), we had dinner at a fast food restaurant (Subway). If you do not want to spend much to eat should go
in fast food or supermarkets for those employees where they see packaged food in the morning and be consumed by the
day, are exceptional, the prices are affordable and there are different varieties of cuisines from sushi to pasta, from
salads to sandwiches, and they range from first to dessert, all cream.

Day visit the neighborhoods of the city. We saw the Soho neighborhood, very cartteristico,
Covent Garden, where there are various souvenir shops and many street artists, very beautiful, Carnaby Street this too
full of shops (London is suitable for those who want to spend money for useless things ...). Cammmina walking we arrive at
mythical Picadilly Circus, beautiful just like you see on TV ... the only inconveniete the rain ... but luckily did not last long.
Without pictures of ritual we went in search of a tea shop .. Fortum and Manson, we found and made stock
for one year we shared. we entered the London Trocadero a huge game room with plenty of shops of souvenirs
... many games and other entertainment for the whole family. we just had a look ...
Resumed the journey to discover a manga (Forbidden Planet) we noticed that in fact they are comics and DVDs
definitely ahead of us Italians ... as usual.
Key step for those who go to London is definitely the British Museum ... huge, beautiful both inside and outside.
We wanted to see, or rather I wanted to see the famous Rosetta Stone ... it is fabulous as I expected. Souvenir of the obligation
miniature of the rod. We also saw the Egyptian collection, Greek and Roman.
Unfortunately did not have abbimo made to see everything the museum had cooked around all day ... We torati at the hotel.
We went out towards evening to go to the organized tour of Jack the Ripper booked from Italy to the site www.goldentours.co.uk
Here you will find many different tours you can do in a half day or full day. We have chosen to Jack
the Ripper and a alrto that we will explain later ..
Unfortunately reached the headquarters of Golden Tours told us that we had chosen the tour had been canceled because
were the only members that night but we were told that it was possible to do it Wednesday and we have booked
then returns to the hotel? Of course not, we went back to patrol the city we got to Big Ben, we
crossed the Thames and we went to see the famous London Eye, the world's largest Ferris wheel is 135 meters high
we chose not to climb to gain time to see the city live and not from above. however, must be a pretty
experience. In return Jubileum we crossed the bridge.

amazing day. dedicated to another tour that we booked from Italy with golden tour. We went to see
site most mysterious Great Britain: Stonehenge ... recommend it is a wonderful experience and unique. paying by
credit card at the site and costs 56 pounds per person ... but it's worth it.
We started at ten in the morning with a bus full of people. driving a lady very prepared during the
way we told the story of Stonehenge (all in English, but also who does not understand we can go
quietly because the archaeological site there are electronic guides in Italian, which he interpreted everything).
we arrive, we park, the guide makes the tickets, give us this kind of intercom / guide where you select the language and
listening to the story. during the guided tour of Stonehenge, there are signs with numbers, you select
on the intercom and the guide tells a piece of history, very clever and interesting. however, taken this subject
through a tunnel and when we go ... show, you see these monoliths enrormi driven into the ground
in a circular ... an indescribable emotion, too bad you can not touch ... there is an obligatory route from
follow that surrounds the site ... We stopped for 45 minutes even though we'd been all day to
admire this wonder. we made a mess of photos .. look the same but they are each a angolazionediversa ... go you are satisfied.
After Stonehenge we set for the Roman city of Bath, which we have only seen the spa. we also expect
that the guide did the tickets and then we entered.
We have handed back those intercoms Multilingual very useful, and we went to discover the spa. We
fun doing a dive in the past. The building is large and there is a recommended route to follow with numerous signs
with numbers and each number is a different story.
At the end of the lap the usual gift shop and then back to London. Our day ends soon ..

Again a full day to devote to visit the city. Our itinerary today includes the London
Tower, we have not visited because we had no time but there are repentant, we'll make the next time we come;
Tower Bridge, beautiful and magnificent, as we crossed but unfortunately we have had the fortune to see him open ..
We have done all along the river from Tower Bridge to the Millennium Bridge. When we saw cammminata
Shakespeare's Globe, is a circular shaped building which reproduces the original Globe Theater where he worked on the famous
writer. We saw the London Bridge and a market very folkloric London.
Arrived at the Millennium Bridge, the view of St Paul's Cathedral is fascinating.
Crossing the bridge seems to cross a footbridge over the River Thames.
Arriving at the cathedral (unfortunately under renovation) wanted to come to visit but just inside the door there
find a box to make the ticket ... church ... what an ugly sight, are paid nine pounds to enter the
end did not seem right to pay such a figure to see a church, although beautiful. (I personally
I have not seen pay to enter a church ..), so we toured the neighborhood, very beautiful and picturesque.
A little further on the Temple Church is a very pretty little church built by the legendary cavlieri Templar. all
original complex was the seat of the knights, but now is home to the offices of several lawyers in London. Even here
Unfortunately the church was under renovation but you could see the inside part because the door was open ..
After lunch we started to see the Westminster Cathedral which is located near the metro station Victoria.
It 'a very beautiful church, especially, and especially not you pay to enter. E 'built in neo-Christian and was
built in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century.
After visiting the church we headed to the headquarters of Golden Tours because it was the day of the tour of Jack the evening
Ripper ... boarded the bus took us in the neighborhood where the murders took place. guide speaks only of course
English and if you do not understand I'll recommend. The tour lasted two hours and it was nice and curious. If you happen to book
I suggest you choose the tour with the actors, which include the scenes of the crimes and life at that time.
We had them but unfortunately not be found on the Internet for sure.

Devoted the entire morning in Greenwich .. to get to Greenwich should take the subway to Tower Hill, then
goes out and takes the line that leads to Backton DRL, down to Westferry and take the train to Lewisham
(the connections between the different trains are fast you should not expect much), then we went down to stop
Island Gardens because we wanted to cross the Thames by underground tunnels they have built, the tunnel is odd,
the idea of being under the river is disturbing ... to the other side we had a nice walk to the park
Greenwich and from there we got to the Royal Observatory. There is also a chest here but you do not pay the ticket is
Free Quote. You enter e. .. 0 meridian is located in front of you ... an imaginary line that finally
can see and beyond ... photo of ritual and visit the observatory with many clocks and telescopes.
Returning to London in the afternoon we visited the neighborhood of our hotel ... though there are many attractions.
