Eating: lunch, not to be bleeding from the prices British, you can 'eat in eastern chains at a fixed price, for example by Mr. Wu eat Chinese buffet for 6 pounds, Wagamama from the kitchen, always a buffet, and' East for 9 pounds all inclusive, then there is the Arab Döner Kebab chain with a menu CIRA 5 pounds, these rooms are a little scattered 'throughout the tourist area, especially in Soho, Leicester Square and Bayswater. For the evening, a typical dinner in a pub, on the basis of sausage & mash and pint of beer costs around 15 pounds a head (= 20 euros a head to eat sausage and pure'.... but with more 'charm an original English pub, noisy and smoky.)
Accommodation: we went to Tria, in Paddington area (35 St. Stephens Gardens, London W2 5NA) and that 'a good compromise between quality' and price: in fact, and 'clean (according to standard Italian, not English ... ..) and in an excellent position (8 metro stops from Piccadilly), although the rooms are tiny, on the other hand, the price is' good (80 euros per night by booking through CTS).
Te ': Council to pass a couple of hours in the room to be yourself' commercial center of Liberty (Regent Street W1R 6AH), the historical center, all made entirely of wood. The expenditure for tea & scones (typical British sweets) and 'about 6 pounds each.
Shopping: department stores Harrods, very elegant, which is just in everything, and Selfridges, the more 'classic.
Subway: hold the Visitor's travel card directly in Italy, because 'not' sold on the spot and save a lot. A single metro costs 2.20 pounds
Climate: bring an umbrella and shoes "fit" to endure the rain (during our 4 days and 'ALWAYS raining!)
Parks: weather permitting, to Battery Park's' the power immortalized in the album cover of Pink Floyd Animals ....
Thames: a mini on the Thames offers an opportunity 'to admire the city from a different perspective ...
Currency: 1 pound = 1.5 euros
