July 21

part I (Lorenzo) and 6 other boys (age 17-18 years). Travel is not organized but solo. London was a goal that has been so long and I wanted to achieve.
but we get to 21 on Wednesday.
morning wake up at 4 and 30. no problem for the alarm because of the excitement. we are in the center of Florence, and we await the bus that would take us terravision airport Pisa.prendiamo the bus at 7 (only 10 minutes late) and reach the Pisa Galileo Galilei after a Ryanair aircraft ora.il our had to leave at 10.15 but now we come to the attention of an hour late. little evil practices complied with all the airport and the delay increases ... finally at 12 o'clock in the plane lifts off towards London-Stansted.
No problem in flight and 2 hours after we land. The time in less means that we will arrive at Liverpool Street station at around 3 to eat Italian (2 pm London time) at this time in Italy was very hot and humid so we were not used in a cool (20 degrees with wind) in London , and we arrive at our hotel Ashley in a very nice (Paddington) after another hour and a half.
After a short rest visit Kensington Gardens are just near the hotel.
of course the park is huge (also because of the size dell'Hide park just next to Kensington Gardens). impressed us so much the sheer amount of people jogging and skating. (One was for investment). And 'This is also the only sunny day of the week spent in the capital London.
Let's go eat at the Notting Hill area in Costa's fish and chips restaurant. A guy greets us with the exclamation "Top Restaurant" (actually it is also recommended by Lonely Planet) but we have to wait almost two hours before we serve a mediocre fish and chips.
Take a few beers and end your day.

July 22

Today, finally, the day is full and you can visit the best English metropolis. We arrived at Buckingham Palace, but there's a huge crowd of tourists to see the changing of the guard. It starts raining and not too little (literally caught us by surprise time!). even with waterproof and umbrella we bathed in the water due to strong winds. After the time we take the metro and go down to Trafalgar Square where we can admire the statue of Admiral Nelson, the outline of the National Gallery and a glimpse of Big Ben.
The national museums are free in London so we enter the National Gallery.
This has among its magnificent paintings, many great artists of our country (Leonardo, Piero della Francesca, Tintoretto, etc..)
After the visit of the famous National Gallery, with two passes, we are going to eat by the inevitable McDonald's. After all we have to get used to eating junk food constantly good as the British capital is very expensive. Then we go from here in the City of Westminster (London area with some administrative autonomy). Westminster welcomes one of its monuments are the Gothic Westminster Abbey (where we do not go because the churches have always been a considerable cost) and the magnificent and famous Houses of Parliament and even connected with the adjacent Big Ben, the symbol par excellence of London. Cross the River Thames sudicissimo see the London Eye, a giant Ferris wheel built in 2000, which reaches a height of 135 meters. And 'the second highest observation wheel in the world. Tired, we sit on pratone under the London Eye. Fattesi 6 pm, satisfied that Lisa wants to see the Abercrombie store for a very fashionable among young Italian girls. To go there we must move from the known Piccadilly Circus. Let us return to our beloved Paddington home to our small hotel. When I have the seven we start to Hyde Park, the largest city park in England, and we take a mini-match with our new ball Arsenal.
For the second dinner we decided to return to the London area Piccadilly, Soho, the evening is filled with people and colors. We have dinner in a brasserie, where we do not eat some bad, but always remember my overcooked pasta with over two whole chunks of fried chicken. We need a little 'delay for which the 11 past and we also need to return quickly in our area because the metro closes around midnight, midnight-thirty.

Friday, July 23

After breakfast and all met together, they are already half past ten and we're going to take the underground to Paddington (how many times we took the Circle Line and District Line!) And climb on the yellow line just the Circle Line. Get off at Bank where there is the Bank of England. Some of our companions had to change here for twenty pounds of notes because they had those old-fashioned, were recently entered into force the new notes. Near Bank is St.Paul 's Cathedral, really very nice with its dome-style Basilica of San Pietro. Remount on the subway and stop off at Tower Hill, where we can admire the medieval Tower of London and the other symbol par excellence of London and Tower Bridge. After the ritual group photo go to a better fast food: Subway.
Then we are preparing to take the metro to get to the Knightsbridge area where the largest mall in the world, Harrods. The building is impressive and of course the inside is a veritable maze. We can see a unique astronomical prices: a globe can cost 140,000 pounds, an accomplice in the luxurious environment torn by an Egyptian opera singer with an adjacent elevator sfarzosissimo on a balcony. The afternoon draws to a close and dead tired We meet for 8 to go to dinner at a nearby Indian restaurant. Yet this restaurant in quantity price ratio is poor despite the food is very good. It 's late and we end when we decide to go to the famous Hard Rock Cafe in London, at Hyde Park Corner. Although Hard Rock is the first open to the world (dating back to 1971) is one of the most majestic nor large. After having bought almost all the monotonous but charming and famous t-shirts and t-shirts we visit the area of Mayfair. And 'this is London's most exclusive neighborhood, not even the shops that exist but for the magnificence of the many hotels in the parking lot with annessei ultra-luxury car of a certain level and people with love and beautiful swindler. We must always be the underground races because it ends its journey at about midnight.
