Elegant, exciting, chaotic, gleaming, eccentric that is ....... London.
It was already a bit that I wanted visitre this European capital, but at that time my English was really bad (now .....) and then, in the company of Veronica from them onwards became my traveling companion, I abandoned all fear, given that language by my side there were those who would have made it better than me.
Five intense days, between metro and long transfers we walk around half the city, our hotel very central, next to the New Scotlan Yard, has enabled us to reach Buckingham Palace, the House of Parlament with the famous Big Ben and the surrounding areas with ease.
Tower Bridge, Tower of London, Piccadilly Circus, Camden town, Hide Park, St. James Park, Notthing Hill are just some of the places that absolutely should not be lost.
Outside the city, we had a short half-day excursion to Widsor Castle, one of countless homes real.
If it were not for the excessive cost of living, which for us the euro is effectively a penalty too, would be a city to live at night with its many local fashion but in the end it will always be the memory of a city really welcoming.
