I wanted to see Scotland expecting a dream come true and I must say that the imagination has exceeded the imagination. We flew KLM from Treviso to London, where we stayed three days. We then retrieved the car from Italy already booked and we left for the North. As milestones along the road we chose York, whose cathedral is truly a dream and then the Lake District, with a stop in a country a bit 'marginal compared to the usual circuit, ie Keswick. The path is based mainly on the Scottish Highlands and they look pristine and wild. We missed Glasgow and we drove north up the west side, before falling to the south side east to Edinburgh, where we stayed two days full and we took a bus to London nottorno. We had booked accommodation and we always stayed in bed and breakfast, which, given the year and that was just the two, we could choose and compare in price and taste, but arrived at every stage in the evening. We did a lot of miles and many single-track trails, we saw guys in kilts who strolled into the middle of nowhere, sheep, bulls, salmon jumping upstream detaching unimaginable, lochs, castles and moors, heath and moorland to 'infinite. Scotland is wonderful and its skies are unique.
