Because you have a week between the work I had left and the new .. I thought I'd take a short break, a little 'unusual to go to Bristol to deepen English. My teacher advised me to this town because everyone is always oriented towards London that costs a lot more 'and is easy to find many Italians to school. I booked my school week through the school OISE (cost quite content, practices very brisk and very kind over the Internet) and I have to stay with a family. I booked the flight on Easy Jet to the cost of 60 € a + r (FANTASTIC !!!). The weather in England, and especially in Bristol because it is near the ocean, is a typical English: wind, sun and then rain, and cold. Bristol is very pretty, typically british, and is easy to turn. Depart from the airport bus to the city center every half hour (there is a point all'aeorporto info itself is rather nice ... but just take a map to the shop in front because they are moooolto summary). Even the web bus in the center is very dense and are rather inexpensive (I paid the weekly ticket £ 12). In the center is a must-visit the cathedral and then stay bellssimo sprawled on the lawn in front (though obviously it does not rain). From the cathedral if you choose to go up, the main street offers countless shops of every kind (note: close but soon enough .. libraries are open until 23! WONDERFUL!). If you go down to the river, is very nice walk in the street that runs along under the arcades, full of small bars. On Saturdays there is the traditional Nicholas Market. Another detour to do is the suspension bridge from which you can make some breathtaking photos
The school is very well organized and nice teachers. I stayed with a lady who lived alone, journalist and writer, and in the evening after dinner (dine soon!) To dwell in discussions of any kind.
The outskirts of Bristol should not miss a visit to Bath. There are buses that leave every hour from downtown Bristol. Bath and wonderful and magical! Being small we can 'stroll throughout the day. The Roman baths are very popular with visitors but they are really a lot: 10 pounds! Worth seeing is the famous bridge of Bath and be sure to go for tea at Sally Lunn's (the house more 'Old Bath: 1482) and have a cup of tea and a pudding jam! MMMMMM (www.visitbath.co . uk).
Another magical place to visit and STONEHENGE.che I managed to see her only in postcards: you must book well in advance because only 1 part by Bristol coach a day!
Tips to eat in Bristol: any place is fine ... they are accustomed to having too good to supermarkets and fresh sandwiches!
The last day I struggled to close the bag because I filled the taken from the famous British retail chain Marks & Spencer's. Clothing for the ladies: no heels ... Bristol is like a miniature San Francisco ... more climbs and descents to 'I can not! In a week I really put all .. the tank top and flip flops to the jacket with scarf and boots for the rain!
Bristol ENJOY !!!!!!!!!!!!!
