During the stay in London we had the opportunity to visit some of the most interesting museums of the city, comforted by the fact that the inputs are absolutely free and then giving the opportunity to enter several times in order to target everything.
The first museum visit was the famous BRITISH MUSEUM in Russell Square which we reached by bus No. 52 (we had taken accommodation at Kensington area relatively central and reached a reasonable number of buses) into Queensway area. Apart from the monumental entrance, to attract were magnificent in it. The vestiges of the past relived preserved perfectly in front of us. What wonder, the Rosetta stone of the Parthenon or the ruins and what about the Etruscan sarcophagi? You can also dine in a satisfactory and relatively cheap (you have to say that London is a city carissima).
The next day it was the turn of two adjacent museums (there can be accessed from within) and quite similar on the issue in question: the National History Museum and the Science Museum.
The topics covered are interesting for those interested in science for those who want to be a general culture. Here, too magnificent entrances, also possibility of making a good stop for lunch at prices almost popular. The two museums are located in Hyde Park area so for those who are in Kensington or we can reach by bus (or subway of course) or if you want to walk a little 'to even walk!
We recommend that you visit them in addition to other museums that we lack of time, we failed to see. A good excuse to return to this city with a thousand faces
