leave for the Middle East and particularly Syria was a very fascinating experience .. as I've always been fascinated by these places and while traveling a lot I had no idea how it could be.
I understand that this state is a paradise for architects and archaeologists ... as it is chock full of Roman ruins, Byzantine, Egyptian, Babylonian ... and so on and so forth! A myriad of temples, dead cities, amphitheaters that have a show .. eyes .. especially in visiting the magical city of Palmyra in the Syrian desert hot! How to forget Apamea, with its endless path .. Bosra and his magical amphitheater, the remains of ancient Ebla and visited the beautiful monastery at Maluula ... all this talk of x is not many castles that are located between the first .. all the great Krak des Chevaliers, perhaps the most famous crusader castle in the world! But anke Castle Saladin Al Haffa and desert castles ... something that no personally have never seen anywhere else where I was! Speaking of cities I've been lucky enough to visit them all ... starting from Hama and its Norie, to Aleppo, for many + important to Syria, with the great citadel, the national museum, the mosque and its bizarre Suq, which seems to be entering the center of the world, the amount of things you will see a view of endless shops, traders who seek to do business, thousands of people come and go ke, prufumi anything and an infinite variety of things to buy .. that only the Middle East has to offer!
And finally .. Damascus to Aleppo, which claims the title of oldest city in the world! I've got the past 3 days .. lintensissimi lost in the alleyways of the city, the warmth of the people that always stops you and asks you if you need help (just like in Italy !!!!) and its shops is impossible to count them ... and above all to return home without spending anything! The mosque is spectacular ... Omayidi gigantic and full of believers and non-preserved in a chapel-green head of John the Baptist. Very beautiful also its minarets! Last stop was to visit the archaeological site of Palmyra .. one of the largest in the world. The city is spectacular, it was really nice preserved, and there are ruins scattered here and there, pretty much like the famous temple of Bel, the theater, the main street and the beautiful night view .. to see if there you go.
I close my travel story with a quote on the historic Euphrates river ... really impressive in view!
The kitchen is spectacular, all meat, spicy or not, even though the house specialty is the so-called "half" that appetizers are numerous .. k! Syria is a country ke deserves to be seen especially if you like that lovers of history or archeology, but if you want to understand ke our civilization is something quite different than them .. a completely different country where I think seen hundreds of things that I could not even imagine before .. including skewers of meat to eat camel .. among other delicious!
But especially to motorists ... eye compared to Formula 1 drivers are rookies are hehe ... Smoking Barrels do not know the highway code and commit all kinds of infringement, but incredibly not slam ever!
