For people who intend to spend their vacation resorts on the coast of
Antalya in Turkey, also nice to relax by combining visits to historical sites and landscapes, this is my experience of past two weeks at the Hotel Corinthia Tekirova, sold in Italy to great price Theorem. Before leaving I had sought a review of the place without finding.
The hotel is located about 60 km from
Antalya and 75 from the airport.
- Location: vote 9. Enviable, nestled in the green of the manicured gardens of palms, flowers and pine trees, directly on the sea and surrounded by mountains exceeding 2500 meters, where in June you can still swim in the sea and still see snow on the peaks.
- Climate: vote 10 (June). 14 days of sunshine, high temperature between 28 and 35, low humidity, nicely ventilated. Minimum between 18 and 22, once the sun set the temperature is delightful. Sea water is not cold.
Structure: 9.5 votes. The main building fits harmoniously into the environment, hosts the elegant lobby, the main restaurant which opens onto a pleasant terrace. Are placed in the garden bungalows built in Ottoman style, surrounded by characteristic squares.
Rooms: 8 votes. Are divided into the central body and bungalows. The rooms are spacious bungalows with convertible sofa bed in 3rd, furnished in a simple but complete, satellite TV and minibar. The entry includes a small terrace. The bathroom is very spacious.
Clean: vote 8. The environments are well cared for. Good cleaning in common areas, sufficient in the rooms. Very courteous staff.
Dining: 8 votes. Available four restaurants. The main buffet, with excellent grilled fish and meat and enjoyable cooking show when preparing dishes. And the many delicious local dishes, spicy and abundant use of chili. The evening allows Turkish to know closely some specialties, with the women who prepare the bread and the classic Turkish pizza with meat and cheese, pilav, rice with raisins and pine nuts, while you cook barbecue on the döner kebap, lamb roast on a spit, and the sis kebap, similar but with mutton. (This does not mean that you must try the real Turkish cuisine in one of the many typical restaurants in
Antalya).
Excellent sweet, very tasty and also the evening fish. Pasta lovers will have to resign, always cooked the same way. No surprise, we are in Turkey!
Even the Italian restaurant (5.5 rating), the turkish (8 votes), and Eastern Europe in fantastic position on the sea (7 votes). The latter reservation without charge.
At lunch, in the main restaurant the choice is more limited.
Beach and sea: vote 8. The beach is very wide, part of coarse sand and some pebbles, which become pebbles at the entrance to the sea. The water is often clear and transparent, though sometimes a dirty curtains in the afternoon wave. The beach is equipped with umbrellas and sun beds free of charge.
Pool: 9 votes. A beautiful and huge pool always perfectly clean with loungers and umbrellas and a water Park with three slides in the green.
Water sports: vote 9. A free canoes, pedal boats and windsurfing. Besides all the others, from personal watercraft to parasailing. Also a diving center.
Sports ground: vote 8. Tennis, archery, beach volleyball, basketball, ping pong, etc..
Animation: vote 6. That is not what we wanted and we have no depth, the vote is only a general impression of the little seen.
Children: 9.5 votes. Paradise for children, large and safe play spaces, excellent facilities available. This for those who want the Mini Club (hate the mini-club).
Other services: a payment massage, turkish bath, Jacuzzi and rental car (Hunday Accent for 24 hours € 30.00 including insurance). Free Internet Point, indoor pool, fitness center, a more favorable exchange rate at the airport!
Value for money: 9.5. Price paid for two weeks from June 10 in all inclusive with flight from Milan, two adults and a child: € 1850 (offer Super Hard Discount Theorem which provides full payment at time of booking, 10% discount agency Blue Holidays).
