Before leaving for the boat trip we decided to give us a first stop to "cool down" a year of intense work in
Dubai. We then spent four days at the hotel Madinat Dar al Masiaf at Jumeirah Beach.
A huge complex, comprising 4 hotels, including the famous Burj Al Arab is located in front of one of the four artificial islands shaped like palm trees. Incredible sea water temperature, in fact inaccessible! Hotter than a hot spring is in fact impossible to dive. The only option is to stay to "soak" in the pool, where water is continuously cooled and brought to +30 degrees!
Ski Dubai
How to lose the opportunity to ski in the largest indoor ski slope in the world? 2 lifts, a modern 4-seater chairlift and a horrendous snow-like frost that forms in the fridge!
But you must try! The cost of lift pass (regular magnetic turnstiles at every step, just like in any alpine resort) includes the rental of all equipment: skis, boots, shoes, jacket and storm pants, socks and helmet!
The impact with the temperature is impressive. External temperature +45, in the mall which is situated in the ski the temperature is about +25, the inside of the "snow park" is constantly - 4 degrees.
