I land in Dubai in 1986, I see a company that has just been born, is called Emirates. Today is the best in the world.
I come from Belgrade on board a DC 10 of JAT, just come down, those customs seize my camera, the first one I owned, then after a tug I have it back.. they said that I had filmed the customs. Mah
The airport was old, that's now one of the most beautiful in the world. Inside, the air conditioning is nice, but when I test the outside air, 40 degrees at least, are a slap in the face, thank goodness, I heard only a few minutes and for the precise telescopic gangway as I went up again plane, in fact we stopped in Dubai for technical stop, I was about to go to Singapore (for the first time) and then Melbourne in Australia.
During the landing, I could see what the desert is the United Arab Emirates, and vegetation practically zero.
