CANADA ..... A MILD DELUSION

After many attempts, still failed to go to Canada in August, last year this is good!
After she had always preferred to other tourist destinations more attractive ....... for our tastes ..... we now remains of this cabbage Canada pages from the atlas that is watching us and we said ... "look at that beautiful I am always here and sooner or later you touch! " So this has been decided: Canada! QUEBEC and ONTARIO!
Air France flight to MONTREAL and back to same starting from TORONTO and arriving in Nice (cost us less, and then often spend the holidays in for them ....... not lose even one hour of leave, you return and again a good week at the sun of Cote d'Azur!). MONTREAL at the first visit we leave a little 'disappointed .... looks like a "bad" cities of France (the France we know better dell'italia!) Carina only the area of the port (3-way style france 19th century .. .) for the rest modern town with all shops concentrated on St Cathrine Street, several skyscrapers but nothing of that! (it will be that we were in New York not long ago ...)
So half disappointment, even the shops the same as the French ...... is bilingual as a state but in MONTREAL we are talking almost only French.
Car rental with a satellite that is crucial not to waste time on bad roads (for those who have little time as us is a must!), We leave and go to QUEBEC City .... very nice town (but a few souls) whole style of the area towns of the Loire, with a castle and fortress! Beautiful but we wonder? But we came to here to see a French village in 1700?! The return trip and we head to OTTAWA, the capital ...... at this point we do not expect much more from a trip this ..... instead OTTAWA is one of the most beautiful city we have seen the .... Parliament Square is truly beautiful (everything here seems to have a strong influence in Anglo-Saxon), beautiful squares, beautiful streets, very clean and the evening there is a whole district that is pedestrian and there are lots of restaurants and localetti where it is nice to walk .
Let us go to TORONTO convinced that it was abandoned .... ........ ohhhhhhhhhhhhh is the classic ugly American city .... we speak only English and the center part with so many skyscrapers and the CN Tower which is said to be the tallest tower in the world, for the rest a real disappointment! Even the shopping is pretty expensive .... so I say again ... why we have come this far?
The only real excitement of the holiday was the trip to Niagara Falls ... a true wonder!
So overall a disappointing half !!!!!!!
