And here we are talking about the American dream .... a month on the road in the United States, turning the whole south west leaving nothing! My journey started from San Francisco, four days fantastic ... if at all as I had the myth of Los Angeles after visiting this city .. LA has been largely overcome! SF is the perfect emblem of the city ... plenty to see, totally different districts, and the typical form with its ups and downs that makes it unique (compared Lisbon looks like a quarter!). The view of the Golden Gate Bridge has left me breathless .. and more without even peck the fog, very frequent thing here! The port area, with fantastic Fisherman Wharf is sensational ... many shops in the seaside where you can find everything, and a Hard Rock Cafe that never seems to end as it is great! I reached the summit then the visiting Chinatown, which I think should be the largest in the world .. English does not exist in there ... all speak only Chinese and not an American theres a say! but we are in SF or Beijing?!?! Little Italy is small but nice ... There are immigrants who are fluent in Italian .. how nice to feel at home thousands of miles away! Then the Castro district, the most famous gay neighborhood in the world and especially the legendary prison of Alcatraz .. Who has not ever heard? is in the SF Bay and can be visited with a boat not to mention the typical Cable-car .. trams you roam here and there around town ... who comes here can not but make us a ride!
Leaving SF .. we go to rent a camper in Oakland, near the country and party .. direction Yosemite National Park, very beautiful with its gigantic waterfall .. Then we see the Sequoia NP ... absurd to see the trees so huge .. and more bills anke snow! Then we arrive in Death Valley .. the famous valley of death ... pure desolation! And finally the day after Las Vegas! arriving during the day gives you the idea of a big amusement park closed ... but the evening is something absurd, lights everywhere, thousands of people on the streets, confusion everywhere and you look like a baby when he sees toys eheh! No one knows where to go first, many casinos are .. there is the Eiffel Tower, Venice, the Pyramids, Disneyland, the Statue of Liberty ... but that is a miniature world?!?! absurd ... I'm speechless .. let's also try their luck at the slot but obviously run away before becoming in his underwear! Leave the sultry LV back in national parks .. with a visit to Zion, which seems a typical meeting place for climbers! Even more different is the Capitol Reef NP, seems Cappadocia (Turkey) for its typical mountain .... Canyonlands NP has a breathtaking view, while the Arches NP is bellssimo for its arches everywhere, some really huge! The tour of Mesa Verde NP is very characteristic, with the little village dug into a mountain, but much more spectacular is the view of Monument Valley NP, the subject of many John Wayne westerns .. with its red hills! .. while entering Indian territory we are in the Four Corner ... that is the only spot where four states bordering Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado and Utah ..! The visit Antelope Canyon NP is absurd .. in the desert, is a kind of subterranean cave with cracks from where comes the sun creates a beautiful play of light!
Here comes the Grand Canyon NP ... lovely .. especially because we allowed ourselves the luxury of seeing him with a ride in aereoplanino! Toccata fast in Phoenix, we head first to Saguaro NP and then to admire the cactus in Tombstone, a hole in the desert, but very popular because they all live like cowboys and go around so ehhe! He returned to California ... and we stop in to visit San Diego, a beautiful seaside city with a strong Spanish influence, since k is close to the Mexican border .. Here you start to experience the "scent" of the true California .. Sea sun beaches! We close our trip with the city of angels .. Los Angeles! 4 days between the visit to take 1000 photos of Hollywood stars on the Walk of Fame .. and hunting of the writing on the hill ehhe! Beverly Hills is the symbol of wealth ... Rodeo Drive is something that few can afford ... unbridled luxury everywhere! But the top was a visit to Universal Studios, where they produce the majority of American films ... a whole day around between studios and attractions funny ... to understand many of the tricks of the movie and relive them! Last stop was a visit to the sea ... could go without seeing Santa Monica? Baywatch was to be seen ... eheh and via the endless beach until that crazy town of Venice Beach, where there are the legendary gyms on the beach and most bizarre types of world ... mother having eheh! Truly a world apart from the United States ... beautiful !!!!!!!!
