Let's goooooo

7 o'clock in the morning ... this is the hour of departure. Linate airport to Rome Fiumicino ...
Mica will think of a nice weekend in Rome? Noooo ... because at 9e20 awaits us ... another Alitalia flight to Miami! Yeah ... this bridge festival dedicated to the Republic we have given away as Florida with its most attractive city in Miami.
We land at local 14e15.
Suggest that the best way to and from airport is without doubt the taxis, which generally have a base price $ 32. The hotel booked on Collins Avenue or the continuing of the most famous Ocean Drive, is just 50 meters from the beach is called Townhouse.
White is the predominant color. Very simple, cute and cheap, but the main feature is undoubtedly the location, just think that in 5 days we have always moved to foot ... fantastic!
In the airport the taxi driver the hotel had informed us that the days of our stay in Miami, was the occasion of Memorial Day, the celebration of the dead for their country.
A heartfelt celebration. The roads were in fact invaded day and night 24 hours on 24 boys and girls, most outlandish and outrageous clothes, powerful cars super polished for the occasion and mostly rap and RnB music a go go.
All of course under the watchful eyes of police officers located and attentive to every corner of streets, bicycle, motorbike, even with the roller. Obviously the advice we can give is to attend only through the streets with greater turnout. We went out every night and we never had any problems.
Lincoln Road is by far the most beautiful street in the evening in Miami ... all outdoor restaurants, shops open until late, but the thing that most 'strikes us is that 70% of the restaurants have origins or personal names entirely Italian . Many children in fact move to Florida to work, to learn English for fun and especially this city, in particular has to offer. We sit in the restaurant "Sybil." A delicious meal of fish and especially in very small numbers, needless to say the waiters were almost all Italians. Another positive side of Lincoln Road is pedestrian in its entirety about 2 km.

A tour of Miami

We are already up to 8.00. The price of the hotel also includes a huge breakfast buffet ... fantastic!
The beach of Miami and which is such as you see in the movies, especially extended to many km but very deep. Another very nice well cared for is a small street that separates the hotel from the beach, almost a kind of promenade that allows you to get up to Ocean Drive.
That's why at lunch time we rent two bikes U.S. style, ie with the brake pedal and walk around the waterfront until you come to Ocean Drive. Note the style BayWatchS famous towers that meet at the beach, all colorful and personalized.
One thing that will surely leap to the eye is that all these towers have exposed the Stars and Stripes ... this is that it is patriotism!
Needless to say lunch time in Lincoln Road is only 10 minutes healthy walk from our hotel. After lunch, taking advantage of the dollar still cheaper than our euro do some 'shopping, Guess, Apple, etc. ... there's to be lost with certain prices.
We now resolve our way to Miami International Airport and take the bus "S".
Miami is in fact divided into two parts ... the most famous Miami Beach and Miami are the most vibrant city, then house ', full of skyscrapers, the city just to be working ...
We go down to the Bayside Market, an open air market located near the Port of Miami. Indeed, the sight is very different. Here you can breathe the air of a typical American town, coming and going of cars, taxis and buses, skyscrapers, people jacket and tie to work, nothing to do with the environment much more cool on Miami Beach.
At sunset we return to the hotel and have dinner at the restaurant "Spris" always on Lincoln Road.

After a morning spent entirely on the beach at lunch time we take a bus towards Aventura Mall. A mega shopping center located approximately 1 hour north of Miami .... On the way you can see huge and luxurious resort with spectacular entrances and manicured.
We return to the dinner hour, unfortunately the only negative note of transport is certainly very cold air conditioning, which is why you want the tail-ending due to the boys on the street every night poured in mass on Ocean Drive or Collins want to go down because we were almost there and we go on foot to the hotel ... the temperature difference from outside the bus is awesome!
Walk on the Lincoln and dinner at the restaurant "Rosinella" very, very good too.
The evening includes a drink at the Delano Hotel located on Collins Avenue just minutes from our hotel. Here you can breathe the real air of Miami by night. The hotel is magnificent, you pass through the hotel lobby up to the outside where a beautiful swimming pool is the host. Its perimeter are many white water beds where you can enjoy a drink comfortably lying by the pool. But really really great, the location is very Hollywood.
One important thing we recommend .. Having regard to the very cool entrance there is a lot of local selection, so be careful how you dress ...

aboard the Duck Tour

Spend the morning aboard the Duck Tour ... nice to see Miami Beach and the bay front.
Yeah that's right land and sea. In fact it is a boat with wheels that turn first to the streets of Miami making you see the major sights, then enter the water "becoming" in the boat and making you see the hut in Miami with all the majestic villas belonging to the stars U.S. and global here is when they want to relax, sunbathe and take a bath.
Back on the mainland across Ocean Drive in full and we return to base, all for the duration of a couple of hours. Today we decide to move on Ocean Drive in about 20 minutes walk from our hotel.
The heat was stifling these days, but it is especially in this day, combined with a high moisture content.
Ocean Drive is a busy street of people, the hotels are so attached to the other one 'as local restaurants and gradually and just follow one of these, the Clevelander, we decide to sit down for lunch. We continue our walk until we reach and the nearby Espanola Way in Miami Beach is also well known.
We 5ST in Miami and we return to our hotel located on the 20st, how? Well of course ... walking you arrive at the hotel and the slogan 'shower! Like last night there "we give" a dinner at Texas do Brasil. A very popular restaurant located in the Marina area of Miami Beach. We recommend you arrive at sunset because that gives the show with the sunset in the background the skyline of Miami with its skyscrapers is spectacular.
After many photos we enter the restaurant. We can guarantee that The service and quality are really worth, so you eat Brazilian meat seasoned and delicious side dishes are also many Brazilians

We get so 'the day of departure. In the morning you can complete classic procedures to check out take a taxi to drive a very nice woman at the airport before you take us for a few minutes to reach the hotel residence Viceroy (structure available to timeshare so we died by the desire to be able to see inside . a very luxurious hotel, consisting of 6 towers of 46 floors.
At the 15 th floor of each tower can I find beautiful 50-meter pools that seem to fall on deaf ears. In the distance you can see the Port of Miami and all the usual channels of water ... this truly spectacular hotel and especially I would say very luxurious!
So glad that I saw the hotel, who knows maybe one day we will stay in this structure, we go to the airport a little 'sad like the rest of it is always after a vacation ... we leave on time aboard an Alitalia Boeing 777 flying to Milan Linate .
Even Miami as many other destinations that we visited in recent years, fortunately it's just a pleasant memory ... See you ...
