Genesis of the trip
This trip was born from a brilliant idea of spouses R., by an invitation, involvement in a friendly and secure their scheduled visit to C. Christmas, their firstborn, in the States in Orlando (Fl) for post-graduate internships. Laughing and joking in a still hot Settembrini Saturday, the park of Monza, on the B. (from Cavezzo, Modena - then explain who they are in their "age card" -), we gave our agreement. Florida for ever. And also visit the U.S. in the winter, especially the Atlantic Coast, Boston, Chicago, New York, it was almost crazy for strict temperature and the wind that sweeps the land. So as a first approach to the States, "the compromise Florida offers all the positive characteristics of a successful venture: the U.S. way of life, the sea (even ocean), wildlife, national park, white beaches, attractions internationally known and taste of the Caribbean .. .

So slowly, slowly especially with the great and constant organizational commitment of A. and M. (with the important assistance of C., correspondent from Florida), we have been able "to put" this beautiful journey, not passively rely on pre-package tours by tour operators, among other much more expensive, not much more customizable but especially such as to deprive the true taste of the journey that lies instead in the "eve", in all that precedes, in logistics, in preparation, in fantasy and not feasible, is to unravel and routes, in talking about it together, discuss solutions to the housing, etc. .. read
And in fact the difference between tourist and traveler lies down in the place of destination, being in the lead passively (turista), or choose instead to participate actively including personally to resolve questions and issues materials, organizational, technical: not for nothing " travel "comes from the Latin viaticum (= what is needed to move the provision), while tourism is heading through a borrowed from French in origin and means" turn. We will try to "enter" in the places we visit with their spirit of the traveler, with critical curiosity, with great love for nature, but at the same time for the marvels invented and implemented by man.

M. and R. have already been in America (North, I mean), while Ros. was in Brazil, all other participants are to experience their first transoceanic (some even at the baptism of flight) yet - they say - go in the States for the first time causing a phenomenon of deja vu very special, almost a return to popular places, family, and thanks to mass communication (media now says) that when we were children we have become familiar - even too much at times - with all that Yankee is as films, television drama, extravagant fashions, coca-cola , chewing gum and Hoole-hop, hamburgers and fries, FBI and marines, beach watchers and sharks, flowers and camicioni always too short trousers, socks and jogging in Central Park ...

CR. is located in Orlando, Disneyworld, after two months, by promoting tourism in our beloved Italy, and we will take in hand to our arrival at the airport on the evening of Christmas and lead the diverse group at our first hotel near her home, The Days Inn Downtown Disney, Lake Buenavista / Orlando ...

... and from this hotel will begin our American adventure, after a Christmas past ... very original in-flight with friends, family, without relatives, aunts, uncles, cousins and cuginetta, nephews and grandchildren, bingo and the like!

The Sunshine State: FLORIDA
The color and the light beam, is the leitmotiv of this land, the most southern of all the States, the Caribbean, the state of perpetual sunshine (hopefully, sic!). And 'the star more "burning" of the American flag and, for its wonderful location, has been renamed "the Member of the Sun." And the climate ensured throughout the year is allowing the good fortune of Florida tourism. The climate of the state is generally hot all year, although varies from temperate in the north to subtropical in the south, particularly in the area of the Keys. The coasts are subject to the benefits influences of the Gulf of Mexico and there are no generally sensitive to seasonal variations. The success of Florida has been decreed in the past decades from the "migration" of retirees (rich) Americans fleeing from cold northern regions, but now with the slogan "Sun and Fun" (sun and fun) has become the destination enviable international families and groups of young people.

A color dawns and early sunsets, expanses of greenery crossed by brooks of water and populated by caimans (the Everglades), and long white beaches where you arrive by car up to the edge of the sea, but also elegant residences and villas for billionaires with the boats docked at the private dock, one thousand golf courses scattered among woods and hills. City of considerable proportions, but fortunately not yet in the American metropolis of the word (like New York, Los Angeles or Chicago), and skyline skyscrapers classic Yankee, but with the backdrop of forests and mangroves.
Boston-Whaler speedboats powerful and unsinkable (apart from some unfortunate specimen imported and Trinacria in Veneto, Italy, ndr), with the insignia of the Coast Guard, arrogant sailing the ocean waves, how many times since we have seen in small TV companies these heroes of the sea!
