driving along the U.S. east coast along the route traced by Interstate 95 from New York City until the U.S. ends 1che southernmost point of Key West. A journey through many cultures and diverse landscapes of the 'continent' North American: from the skyscrapers of the Big Apple, past the monuments of Washington DC and the magic of Orlando, up to the glittering Miami and palms of the Caribbean islands Keys .
ADVICE:
On The Road --- In the U.S. it is virtually mandatory credit card. The demand for anywhere, do anything.
If you plan to travel by car is not afraid to run out of petrol in the street .. there are areas of service virtually everywhere (every 3 miles on the Interstate that are not subject to tolls, except in a few short stretches). Speed limits should be respected! but if you stray more than 5 miles .... does nothing more than risk arrest (.. do not take example from the 'trucks', which run like hell !!!). Eye to outlets outside of the big city because there you can buy clothing RL, Tommy Hilfiger and Nike in very good price (... the rest is practically as we ...). In hotels it is advisable to tip 'to the right and left' (minimum $ 3, otherwise peck curses shift ...).
In many restaurants the service charge (gratuity) is not included in the account but it must be paid to the waiter at a level equal to 15-18% of the cost of the meal.
New York ------ if you decide to go to New York and Miami to go shopping is the second chip. Technologically, though, NYC is Imbat.
Mary Poppins On Broadway I suggest: buy them tickets at the ticket office of each theater, it costs less!
Beware of breakfast in the morning sit back on those tempting restaurants: Sarabeth's is quite affordable as prices, BLT Market (Both of central park south) is expensive (there is a continental breakfast for about $ 45-50 each).
The MoMA is beautiful and interesting especially the paintings of Van Gogh and Picasso, to the Statue of Liberty file about two hours. The best way to see Manhattan is to walk, (the metro is not as interesting as those of Paris ...) or take the Tourist Sightseeing (cost about $ 29/persona/giorno).
not miss the East River, an area less commercial but very impressive ..
Go for a walk in Brooklyn, it's worth looking at Manhattan the other side of river.
Washington in a busy day you see it all, including Philadelphia (both by train from NYC): Very beautiful and full of history.
Charleston ---- beautiful and worth visiting on a busy day ... also has a beach area. Maybe you can visit starting from the base which can not be Savannah (Georgia).
Orlando ----- go to a Disney resort, or if you want to save go to the spot and take a resort on the spot .. cè cocorrenza merciless between good and services (I was at the Yacht Club Resort in Epcot Blvd (Disney) and Intl Drive in another resort where I paid about $ 100 double. do not miss Universal Studios and Adventure Island
Strictly ----- Miami South Beach, Loews Beach Hotel Board! Lincoln Road and Ocean Drive will keep you company for alme two full days. Then go to sleep in the Everglades and resorts in the swamp (I have not done but they told me that it's worth it)
---- Key West by car along U.S. 1 that goes on all the Caribbean islands Keys with breathtaking landscapes. There you will have the impression of being in Florida instead of 5-6 days is worth a thousand contradictions between the sea and excursions to the reef and the catamaran to watch the sunset from the sea. Christmas-Easter period is ok. The best resort is the Westin Key West Marina ... do not waste time!
