A pleasant finding: Santa Monica

We arrive at 14.30 local to Los Angeles and tried the free shuttle to the Hilton LAX, the hotel strategy we have chosen for these two days, it is 5 minutes from the airport and has free shuttle service (thus spared the taxi) also has an excellent value for money and for 'excursions are to take the hotel but we pay as those who sleep in the city center.
Just a shower is to enter the reception to ask for info about Santa Monica our first stop to visit. The guy tells us that the bus passes right outside the hotel in about 30 minutes brings us to the destination. We pay the ticket on the bus and just arrived at our destination we understand immediately that has nothing to do with New York.Infatti L.A. looks like a city much more livable with less smog, and many more open spaces, there is also an astonishing and Marina and the California sun ...
We spend a few hours shopping on Third Street Promenade (pedestrian street full of shops and street music), one snack at a steak house and it's time to go into hotel.Domani we can expect a busy day and it's better to rest.

Universal Studios: wonderful!

Hours are 9:00 to get to the hotel for the esursione we booked as a half-day tour of LA Universal Studios and a half.
Lead us in the headquarters of the tourist agency and after payment we sorted according to the excursion choice.
Tour of Venice, Santa Monica beach, Beverly Hills, Hollywood (walk of fame) and afternoon snack break between stradivertimento house of horrors, Terminator 2 3D, the train tour of Universal Studios with a lot of explanation and demonstrations of special effects used in the sets cinematografici.Concludiamo in beauty with Jurassic Park.
Unfortunately, there was at least the whole day to visit the park, but what we saw there was enough to have an excellent memory of this posto.Torniamo Hotel at 20.30 just in time for dinner at the Italian restaurant that we Hilton .

Another farewell!

Always with the shuttle at the airport Hilton where we took off for Phoenix.
Los Angeles was really a big surprise (positively, of course) and we regret not to have extended our stay in this metropolis of a thousand faces.
