Monument Valley by car
After about 3 hours of travel we arrive at 'Holiday Inn in
Kayenta, where we rinfraschiamo a little and then set off to Monument Valley which is about 40Km.
Even from the street you see these rock formations created by wind and everything seems to be in a world surreale.Per many times have we seen these posts in the various Western movies, but in person there is something else entirely.
At the entrance there accolglie a woman to collect the fee for entry. In fact, Monument Valley is not a park
national territory because it is Navajo, and then they are to manage everything.
We are responsible for a hike with one of their jeeps to see the various points of view and private areas that only they know not by hearsay, but it's worth it and we save $ 150!
We venture with our car and then little by little we see different vantage points. We have fun and not really a lot we repent of having gone around quite independently.
It's only a couple of hours, but this experience makes us feel happy but tired.
Us return to
Kayenta where literally collapsed.
