New York, United States: traveling to the center of the world..

With Alitalia to start from Malpensa Newark .... after 8 hours of flying we are in the Big Apple: New York !!!!!
Exit is full of taxis and other vehicles that take you to the city .. as soon as we find one free load your bags and begin our wonderful adventure ... Even the view is breathtaking from the car .. see the skyline is something unforgettable ..... EDISON Our hotel is in the area of Broadway and I would say that the choice was excellent since we are in the center ... It is getting dark .. carry the suitcases in the room (very clean and comfortable) and with our friends Lorenzo and FABRIZIO decide to do a tour ... is evening but seems to be in broad daylight ... full of lights, billboards with tall skyscrapers ... everything is firmly ingrained in my mind ... I think tonight I'll never forget .. was a feeling never felt before .... Well show you that we are AT THE HEART OF THE WORLD! The sensation is that of being in another world ... that experience !!!!!!
The day after you start immediately with a nice breakfast super expensive ... discover only after the Starbucks. Take bus tickets information office close to us and we go to Ground Zero .... in the air still so much suffering. In the little church beside us are all the memories of those terrible days that we will never forget ... The buildings around are all the restructuring ... Looking around and seeing the grandeur of this city I can not comprehend how it could have happened that two planes have hit the twin towers .......
Same day visit by taking the ferry THE STATUE OF LIBERTY '(beautiful views of the city) and Ellis Island, the island where all the immigrants arrived before entering the city ... is now a museum with collected throughout the history of those years ...
Crossing Wall Street and visit the Trinity Church ... on foot to arrive at Seaport and Brooklyn Bridge on foot .... that we cross
On the evening of the first day we go to eat at a pizza and then go to Rockefeller Center that is illuminated to great effect ...
The second day we cross the entire Fifth Avenue, then moves on to the Cathedral of St. PATRICK .. We decide to go to lunch in Central Park, through almost everything and very nice ... while we ate our sandwiches there comes a sudden storm ... We sheltered under our umbrellas and we caught the bus ... the city seemed blocked and it was impressive to see rain in the middle of those skyscrapers .. They decide to go shopping at MACY'S the most 'department store in NY ... In the evening we go to celebrate the birthday of my husband LITTLE ITALY Italian restaurant in the Big Apple ... overcooked spaghetti and not really very good ... but we had great fun ...
On the third day let the Empire State Building .. before boarding warn us that visibility is not good but we went up the same and we did well ... because the view is breathtaking ... Take the fruit in a shack along the road ... wanted to eat something good ... is because in NY the kitchen is not for me ... Only super-stuffed sandwiches and McDonalds .... We also go to Chinatown and to SOHO .. We visit the Metropolitan Museum and then we decide to go get the car because tomorrow it's off to Boston ..
New York I remained in my heart .... and I can not wait to come back to show it to my little LUCA ...
