A quick taste of different neighborhoods of New York:

MANHATTAN

Financial District / Battery Park: New York's financial district occupies the southern tip of Manhattan. It has beautiful buildings, as well as places full of history such as the New York Stock Exchange on Wall Street, Trinity Church, the building housing the Federal Reserve, The Old Custom's House and many others.

Do not miss:
Nearby, the Battery Park, head to the Staten Island Ferry, and that the shuttles commuters between Staten Island and Lower Manhattan skyline offering stunning views of the bay of Manhattan, and Miss Liberty at no cost.

Chinatown & Little Italy: New York's Chinatown is probably the most eclectic of Manhattan, with its thriving shops, fruit and fish and its colorful souvenir shops, this place, like a large bustling market and exotic, those who wonder visit. In recent years, the boundaries of Chinatown have been expanded to incorporate the nearby Little Italy, which has now lost its authenticity, becoming street full of Italian restaurants for tourists.

Tribeca / Soho / Nolita These three neighborhoods have been transformed from centers of production and distribution in a residential atmosphere and unique architectural looking.

TriBeCa (the Triangle Below Canal Street acronicmo) currently its appearance is that of a residential district of former warehouses converted into luxury condominiums and modern offices. The area boasts some of the restaurants and night clubs "in" the city.

Soho: New York's historic district, turned slowly in a residential area. Today, its cobbled streets, its full of local atmosphere and its elegant shops attract many tourists and shoppers.

Nolita (ie "A North Little Italy): The district is inhabited in part by its former residents, and partly by artists and young professionals who choose to live in a trendy area. It's worth a walk.

Upper West Side: The proximity to Central Park and Riverside Park, the Upper West Side are an ideal choice for families with children. The area is also home to the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, the American Museum of Natural History, the Children's Museum and Symphony Space.

BROOKLYN
- Williamsburg: Located in the northern part of Brooklyn, between Flushing Avenue, Bushwick Avenue and Kent, is a neighborhood on the move. A number of artists and musicians have begun to populate this area, attracted by rents from its content and warehouses converted into lofts, to make the place more alternative Williamsburg in New York.
