Three friends in a long tour of the U.S.A... Two stops in the amazing Las Vegas

On this journey the story of two stops in Las Vegas, the first during the transfer from Los Angeles to the Grand Canyon, the second to return from large parks. Las Vegas, the city of entertainment for adults, welcomes us with its slot machines, large luxurious hotels, casinos, small churches marriage easy, long limousines and trucks with sails that advertise the benefits of beautiful prostitutes.

 

Las Vegas, outbound

Arrived in Nevada from California with three traveling companions aboard a hired car in Los Angeles during a long tour of the USA To get here we crossed a desert region made of stones and a few weeds and also in Nevada, the situation does not change. At the boundary between the two countries but there is a large shopping center with a large sign that informs you that here you can gamble. That game is in fact the main bulb of Nevada and slot machines of every shape and size are really everywhere, even in places where you expect it ever. Go into a gas station and find a slot, go to a food and find another machine to play, in short, everywhere you turn you groped luck. In the mall where we stopped to refuel there is also a roller coaster! We continue along the deserted streets until it appears like a mirage Las Vegas, a city built from scratch like a big playground for adults. We arrive with the sun and we settled into one of the huge hotel rooms by 5000, the Excalibur that with a very affordable price makes you live for a day in an environment of luxury. Moreover, this is the city of spangles, of neon signs, shows dazzling, futuristic buildings. Our hotel is the medieval-style chic in that reconstruction is a fairytale castle but how would a child using the constructions of Lego. The interior is decorated with the style chandeliers, balconies, lace, yards to Bo-window. The room where we sleep in four is large and has two large double beds, which is quite rare in America where you usually sleep in single beds and a half. We have dinner in one of the many restaurants dell'Excalibur where a few dollars you can serve in a buffet and eat everything from American specialties, to international cuisine, Italy's the Chinese. Pure offers a great pastry assotimento even if the focus is more on the amount and appearance of things than quality. The soft drink machines are fully available and you can use it at will taste even absurd things like cherry flavored water. Darkness falls and the bright lights of Las Vegas light up so they take the opportunity to travel the Strip, the long avenue which is overlooked by the major hotels. Starting from the Luxor pyramid whose apex is projected by a beam of light to continue through the sky in front of our hotel and then crossed the Streap to enter the hotel's movie studio Metro Goldwyn Mayer, whose symbol is the lion, and because the entry is preceded by massive golden statue of this animal. In the lobby, a glass cage where it was rebuilt the forest is home to some much less powerful than the lion statues outside, in fact, oblivious of the tourists were dozing. Our long walk continues watching the New York New York from the outside, a hotel whose facade repeats the skyline of the Big Apple with a lot of faithful reproduction of the Statue of Liberty and insertion of a roller coaster that runs around the skyscrapers. Too rough exterior style of the facades and the Coliseum is too stylized, but very nice reproduction of the Trevi Fountain but with the ancient Rome did not have much relevance. Run to Tresure Island to watch the spectacle of the pirates but has already finished so we just watch the playback of the ship and the game room inside. The most beautiful hotel in Las Vegas is, however, the Venetian, the front rebuilt some of the major monuments such as the Venetian Doge's Palace, the Clock Tower, the Campanile of San Marco and the Rialto Bridge. It 'strange to see the cars pass under the bridge or billboards on the Campanile, but this is Las Vegas! The interior does not disappoint at the Venetian, which is extremely luxurious with ponds and waterfalls, but the real jewel is the second floor, the reconstruction of part of Piazza San Marco complete with canals, gondolas and sky day. We climb up to date with an escalator, and when you arrive in "Piazza" seems to be in broad daylight because the lights are designed well enough to give this optical effect is given not only false but also from the sky from tiles that appear wet. The Venetian has satisfied and so we return with a long walk all'Excalibur, our hotel.
The next morning we continue the tour on the road to the Hover Dam, a massive dam, whose construction that obstructs the flow of Colorado has allowed the development of Las Vegas in an area so arid. You arrive through a street of arid hills and through the dam will enter Arizona.

Las Vegas, inbound

Returning from large parks of Arizona and Utah the way, if you are going to Death Valley, moves back to Las Vegas. Returned to Nevada from Arizona we stopped in the large commercial area on the border between two states for a snack, then we're back in Las Vegas that welcomes us into the light of day. is Saturday and the hotel prices have more than doubled. This time we find an accommodation at the Luxor and our room is just inside the Great Pyramid to the ceiling so that it follows the angle. We have dinner as the time before the full inclusive dell'Excalibur since the Luxor is more expensive, tasting a bit of everything but fill her eyes ch stomach. Even in this second opportunity awaits him Streap with its grand hotels and starts with the New York visit New York where it was rebuilt within a part of the "Big Apple". We continue to review the wonderful dancing fountains of Bellagio and since we, back inside the hotel to see if the flower arrangements is completed. Our perseverance was rewarded by a spectacular garden with automata on the train. Exit, after reviewing yet again the dancing fountains, my traveling companions back to the hotel tired but I continued to visit again entering imperialism Palace and managed to see at least the end of the performance of pirates Tresure Island, among other things, at least for what I've seen, nothing exceptional. Continue until almost at the bottom of Streap entering the Circus Circus, which was not excelled, then go back to the already mentioned above by stopping Venetian, too good not to do an encore. Also in Paris where I entered the lobby penetrate the "legs" of the representation of the Tower Eiffell and where are reconstructed from a card table and the other typical sights of Paris and even a metro station. On Saturdays the Streap is more crowded than usual and late night circulate strange people like a guy with a fire extinguisher powder taken somewhere where he enjoys spraying people. The Streap is a long journey and I have so much and I'm tired, I stop in front of a curious open-air bar where we gathered a lot of people, there's a bartender-juggler who throws bottles like bowling pins in the area and prepare cocktails. All 'Excalibur I take the monorail for free Mandalai and from there I walk with difficulty to the Luxor where I can reach the room: I do not have a card key and without that I can not take the elevator. Finally taking advantage of other hotel guests staying at my own plan I can get in front of the room and let me open.
The next day after a hearty full breakfast inclusive all'Excalibur leave Las Vegas and after a few kilometers leave the Nevada desert and enter California.
