This was a trip a little unusual.
I won a scholarship of the university and I found myself catapulted "down under" overnight.
It 'been a fantastic experience in every sense. I have not been able to do much the tourist, because I was down to "work" but a "walkabout" I may have done!
Sydney is home for me. There is the most beautiful city in the world. Take a trip in its bay in the evening when everything is lit is worth the trip. Bellissimo is the Botanical Garden. The classic tour is to see the magnificent Opera House, Harbor Bridge, Darling Harbor. Pyrmont is also a very charming neighborhood full of trendy clubs to do the brunch. I advise you to go and eat at the Fish Market. Almost before you cook the fish that you like.
Are shopping for the famous Martin Place and George Street, or the old district of The Rocks, but I love Paddington.
If you dare to go further, also deserves a day at Centennial Park, a giant park, not far from the center.
MA Sydney beaches is mainly full of surfers. The most famous and young is Bondi Beach, then if there are enough Manly (at the end of the bay), raggiungebile a ferry, or Coge and Cronulla.
If you want to make a boat trip, go to Watson Bay and attracate there, is beautiful.
My favorite beach will always Palm Beach, which is a bit out of Syd, but it is striking.
An alternative to the sea are the mountains. Within a couple of hours from the city, reachable by train from Cemtral Station, there are the famous Blue Mountains. Go and make a nice walk in the Rainforest.

What about Melbourne? A European-style city, rich in monuments of the old Inghilterrra. It 'very chic, full of restaurants, clubs, galleries but sopratttutto designers. If you want to relax there is nothing better than the Flinders Park, or a gitarella beach in St. Kilda, a short distance. At the weekend we are the market.

Brisbane I liked very much, but it is there that begins the great Barrier Reef. Take a ferry and spend some giorbo to Fraser island, the island of sand in the world, and the most beautiful (x me). There are 7 of 9 species of the most poisonous snakes in the world and the dingo in freedom, but it is a real gem, in fact is protected by Unesco. If you rent a jeep to move, look at the tides, or you may be planted on the shore.

To Airlie beach, we sonodelle really nice beaches, but most of all is the basis for the cruise to Withsundays. The only worthy of merit of a thousand islands is Whiteheaven Beach, which as the world is a beach of white sand that creaks under your feet. Just try it.

There are a number of atolls in the Great Barrier set, I chose Lady Elliott, which is less famous and less of the other tourist. There is a center of marine biology and to get there with landing an airplane propeller to a lawn 2 times a week.
It 'an uncontaminated as the sign of welcome "belongs to turtles and birds." So there is a curfew at night and there is only you along with millions of stars.

Council to take Australia in stages, perhaps to states, because it's huge, strong and waiting to be discovered. Obviously with the season starting, we recommend different climate zones.
