8th day, Perth - Sydney

This morning finally asleep, our flight allows us to take it calmly. After a quick breakfast in your room, we reach the nearby airport, release the car (note that in Australia at the time of delivery there is no officer to check for damage, you can reach the office in the terminal and issue keys, and you are advised that the monitoring will be carried out after washing the car ... bad thing, but we had no surprises).
Lose the two time zones and arrive in Sydney this evening (flight Virgin, € 143) overlooks the city lit where we distinguish the bay. With a taxi (about € 15) we are bringing to our hotel, where we remain for 3 nights. (Quality Cambridge, € 86 with breakfast, indoor pool, accomline.com). We discover that the room lacks the 3rd bed required and give us a new room more spacious and elegant without supplement, with beautiful views over the skyscrapers of the city.

9th day, Sydney

We wake up with a beautiful day. The sky is blue, the air crisp, but you're fine with a sweatshirt. Buy on board the bus that brings us to Circular Quay a 1 day pass ", (€ 10), which allows all year unlimited on all bus, metro and ferries in the area center. A bargain, because the ferries make trips spectacular comparable to those offered by cruise tourism.
Circular Quay bustles with people and gives us the first glance spectacular. In particular, going up on the top floor of the Passenger Terminal, the view is breathtaking and you can imagine now that we are admiring one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Opposite the symbol citizen Opera House, surrounded by the beautiful bay where stands imposing the Harbor Bridge, and the going of the ferries reach Circular Quay dominated by the imposing and elegant skyscrapers. On the other side opens the historic district The Rocks, where wandering for a half hour. A short walk we arrive at the Opera House, close is truly impressive and glittering. From Circular Quay take the ferry that runs along the bay to get there in 20 minutes to Watson Bay. A short walk leads to The Gap, where high bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Only yesterday we had to face the endless Indian Ocean .... Not bad!
From The Gap take the bus and go down after about twenty minutes to Bondi Beach. The most famous beach of the city shows a huge expanse of sand almost deserted, lapped by a sea blue with waves powerful ride by surfers. A few daredevil is doing the bathroom without even the dumb, and we can remove barely plush heated by a warm sun. The walk from Bondi reaches Bronte Beach is really beautiful; spend about 30 minutes, between small coves, beautiful bays, high cliffs and people doing yogging and gymnastics. From Bronte take bus 378 which is shown in the center.
The evening spend at Darling Harbor, which offers the skyline more beautiful city lit and dominated by tall skyscrapers and the characteristic Sydney Tower. Dinner in a restaurant that overlooks the bay, outdoor heated by lighting the stove. At the end, we embark on a ferry from Darling Harbor leads to Circular Quay, perhaps the cruise cheapest and spectacular in the world, sailing in the bay, passing under the Harbor Bridge and next to the Opera House, among the lights infinite and magic of the city.

10th day, Sydney

Today, just as beautiful, we dedicate to the city center. Crossing Hyde Park to St Mary Cathedral, which is being prepared in anticipation of the Pope From here we continue on foot to the beautiful and enormous Royal Botanic Gardens, which we entirely up to Mrs Macquaries Point, where you can admire a the most amazing views of Sydney. The gardens are famous for two reasons: the first for signs that invite visitors to trample the grass, the second for the remaining giant bats hanging upside down from the trees, and that when they get up in the air really make an impression. Our tour continues on foot to the town: walk down the pedestrian Martin Place, characterized by elegant and imposing buildings, to the monorail station to City Center, where we buy a day pass (€ 14 family pass). The elevated monorail running through the streets of Sydney, offering panoramic view and allows you to get on and off in different neighborhoods. The first is that we visit China Town, but is perhaps the least typical Chinese city I have ever seen. Then we visit the area of the Town Hall and the shopping center dell'elegante Queen Victoria Building, in a frantic way to go people to walk to various shopping malls and business people. Finally we return to Darling Harbor, a pleasant walk in the marina where skyscrapers contrast with the deep blue of the sky, while the thermometer over 20 degrees .... We thus beautiful Sydney, thank you for the wonderful time that we have to this time ....
