A day that we'll remember forever!
We get up early at 6.00 because of the shuttle passes Tekura Tahiti Travel that will take us to the airport Fahaa. Only 6.00, but people are almost entirely in piedi.Cominciamo so understand that you get up early, early dinner and go to sleep presto.Dopo be passed from port to load of tourists arrived by ferry from Moorea airport and at 7.30 we finally leave for
Tahaa.
The plane is small and will thus also subsequent because the airstrips are small compared to those commonly seen that often lands in small motu.
Once we landed we move the boat because the airport is close to the island to Raiatea
Tahaa.
Many tourists go to
Tahaa Private Island a super luxurious hotel and attended by VIP but we will go into a small and romantic paradise: The Vahine Private Island.
This small island is privately managed in detail from a French family.
The structure consists of a restaurant, a bar / library, an area equipped for water activities 3 beach bungalows, bungalows and 3 suites, overwater bungalow 3.
When we arrived the manager and an employee (Polynesian) welcome us with flowers and a necklace of their slogan "Welcome to Vahine, beyond the island is the world, here is paradise!"
My wife and I had never seen a place so enchanting.
Lead us to the restaurant to offer breakfast and choose the courses that we will be served for dinner, then we will illustrate areas of the island (all kept with care), but the highlight is yet to come.
At about 11:00 Carl brings us to our Fare (Polynesian in: house) and here we are amazed.
A stilt house built with simplicity but which integrates seamlessly with the surrounding nature.
Designed with two sliding walls (wanting to remain half-open), inside the refrigerator is covered with interwoven leaves, the folding table with bottom of glass to watch the fish from the room, the walls and furniture all covered with interwoven leaves , large bathroom with two small rooms with a shower in the other fianchi. In wc all with shell ornaments, and finally the terrace, with hammock, two, sun chairs, coffee table and two chairs with ladder for direct access mare.Ma the most spectacular is the view.
A natural pool in the distance the water becomes a little bluer, and still farther we see Bora Bora.
We were several minutes without speaking to admire the spectacle that we face, the peace that reigns in this island which I believe is the place where everyone wants to be on their honeymoon.
After an afternoon of relaxing in the sun, towards the sunset a waitress carrying a tray with two appetizers and a bottle of flut champagne.Li of leaves on the terrace table and says, "tribute by Carol and Carl" ( owners).
All meticulously taken care of, the sun gave us a fantastic sunset right behind Bora Bora and we could toast our love forever in a super romantic scenery.
From 19 to 20 will be served dinner, and also the restaurant has its fascino.Le lights are very dim, the tables are lit by candles and waitresses have the headgear with ornamental floreali.La cuisine is French with some small influence Polynesian, and is nothing short of exquisite!
I believe that this day do not forget this place ever since we found interesting to be romantic and sweeping like few other places on earth.
Bloody wind!
Now we have acquired the Polynesian rhythms and at 7 we are already awake.
We decide the menu for dinner and after the usual mega breakfast (omelets, fruit, yogurt vanilla
Tahaa, lime marmalade and biscuits with coconut, milk and fruit juice) we take the pedal and go to visit the island's wild side . Here the reef is very close and the water currents are strong.
Let's do some photos and we return to our doing because the wind got up, unfortunately that will take us all day and night.
After dinner on the beach is provided a Polynesian show and we are also involved with us now ballo.Facciamo knowledges with other guests of the island and we see that we Italians are about half of the tourists on the island and this average will be maintained in the other Islands in fact a taxi driver in Papeete had told us that from June to September there is the invasion of the Italian newlyweds.
Fall within our make and the wind storm all night with gusts that pass by ... sliding walls!
Waiter or waitress?
Finally the wind calms down and we can brown them in the sun all day.
In the afternoon we discover that are made entertainment activities in the main structure, and today women are taught to create floral decorations.
Who teaches the whole is the maid or do all of the island. In fact, in Polynesia is fairly easy to find these guys up like women who do her housework or take care of activities normally performed by women.
That evening at dinner all the women wear in their hair to their creation and then repeats the show always Polynesian
the sea lit by torches and sea breeze.
